Dragonfly Readers
Teachers’ Notes
These worksheets are intended for children with a reading
age of between six and seven and a half who are able to read the Dragonfly
books without too much adult help.
Their aim is to reinforce the following points:

Teach the
reading and spelling of words for common colours.

Teach the
reading and spelling of words for numbers one to twelve.

Teach some
simple phonics by means of rhyming words based on the text.

Repeat some of
the vocabulary in the books by simple questions.
-
Help in
memorizing spelling of vocabulary in the books by wordsearches.
