English Aircraft:
Hurricanes:  a one-seater-aircraft made mainly of wood. It had 8 machine guns.
Spitfires--more advanced and faster than the Hurricane. It  had only two machine guns, but they were heavier than the Hurricane ones

German Aircraft:
Stukas-- a dive-bomber which dropped bombs very accurately. They were bigger than Spitfires, but slower.

Dorniers--a twin-engined bomber. This was the slowest aircraft but could carry lots of bombs.
