Amy added this:

Kate atood up thinking that it was only her dreaming, but it wasn't. The others stood up and looked around, it was black, no green, not even a small bit of colour.

"We must not be out of the game" Josh said.
"When he turned off the Television the game shock, we must have fell and banged our heads and past out"
"How are we going to get out" Fiona asked.

They stood in silence.
"I know, Thomas put her fingers on your head and try and tab into The other thomas's mind, tell him to play the game" Kate said.
"Ok I'll try" "I'm in".............

I like the way you are bringing all the children into the story, Amy. The idea of Thomas trying to tap into the other Thomas's mind is very good, too.

Claire added this:

“…the game, I’m in the game, I’m in the game,” he said the words over and over an over again like he was trying to wish himself back into the game. But it didn’t work. They were all still trapped in this 2D picture. It was like they were just drawings of people not real people at all. Thomas began to cry. He was only seven after all. He was the youngest of them all. He felt the big hot tears rolling down his face and then the tears were licked away by a ruff tung. Thomas opened his eyes. Goldi was there. She was real. She was not 2D. He could feel her fur. She seemed to be telling him something. He consintrated hard. Now he could understand her. Suddenly words came to his mouth...

Excellent, Claire. You brought back Shannon's idea of 2D and made Thomas a very real little boy. I'm glad you brought Goldi back, also.

Amy added this:

"I can understand the dog, Fiona, I really can" Thomas said, amazed.
"Yeah, Right Thomas, this isn't a joke, you know" Josh said.
"I know but I really can"
"Listen, if Thomas says he can talk to a dog he can talk to a dog, Ok, Just because
you can't JOSH" Kate said.
"Leave him alone" Fiona said.
"NO, you leave me alone"
"Just everyone, leave everyone alone, now listen to what the dog is saying" Thomas said.

The dog was barking no-one could understand how Thomas was talking to Goldi.
"He says that he knows the way out of here" Thomas said.
"Thats great and its a SHE" Kate said.

"What is the way out of here" Fiona said.
"Even though it is 2D and the game is turned off that doesn't mean we are out, we have to battle our way through"
"LETS DO IT THEN, where do we start" Josh asked.
"We have to press that button ove there in the corner"
"Go on you press it, Fiona"
"I'm not pressing it"
"OH for goodness sake I will press it" Kate said.................

Pressing a button always makes an exciting twist to a story. Well done, Amy. I wonder who is going to finish the story tomorrow?

It was funny, thought Fiona. Usually she was the boss, though sometimes it was Josh. But now Kate and Thomas seemd to be taking over. Of course, she always knew that Thomas was clever – he played computer games that were ment for kids much older – but she was amazd at him now. Perhaps there was a chanse he mite get them out of this terror, perhaps…

Nice little pause in the action here, Claire - that's always a good idea to keep your reader guessing - keep them in suspense.

Before Fiona could finish the sentence in her mind Kate pressed the button. Suddenly words appeard on the white wall. The words were huge and black. It was hard to read them. Josh took two steps back, but then Thomas shouted out
EMERGENCY PROSEDURE
PRESS ALT DELETE.
“where is the computer?” screamd Thomas.
“Open that cubord!” yelled Kate…

Very good, Cillian. You're keeping going with the computer game motif.

"Ok"
Kate walked over to the cuboard and opened the doors slowly. There was a huge computor, with a clue on it.
Kate pressed control alt delete but nothing happened.

"Thomas, there is a clue on the computer it says: There is a puzzle, there is a maze, chosse one it is the right way"
What could this mean............

And you're keeping up the suspense, Amy.

Amy added this:

"This is exactly what happens in the game I play at home, as well as that I know which one is the right and which one is wrong" Thomas explained.
"Which one is the right one" Kate asked.

At that very moment a big flash of light appearred. "THHHHOOOMAAAS what is happening" Fiona said.
"This is the fairy queen, she lives in the castle in the hill up there, you have to get there to win the game"
"I AM THE BEAUTIFUL FAIRY QUEEN LOUISE AND I LIVE HERE IN THE LAND SOOSE, I HAVE CAME TO FIND OUT WHICH CLUE YOU HAVE SELECTED"
"We have chossen the maze, fairy queen" Thomas said bowing.

"Turn left, I am looking forward to seeing you in my castle tonight for a banquet"
"Here is your aquietment"
"They were given a pair of sparkly shoes and a bag and a sword and a crown.

"I will take the shoes" Kate said.
"No I will" Fiona said.
"Kate will, Thomas said and you will take the bag and I will take the sword and you Josh will take the crown"
"I know what to do with the sparkly Red shoes " Kate said.
She closed her eyes and said aloud" I wish I was at home and when she opened her eyes Fiona, Josh, Thomas, herself and Goldi were in the middle of the maze.

"Kate you are a genius, you got us half way through the maze" Thomas said
"Look theres a sign saying"..........

I was thinking that this story was nearly over, but you've added another lovely idea, Amy.

Louise added this:

Welcome to the castle of soose, right this way, but you will have to fight the gremlins first"

"Please don't kill them Thomas" Kate said.
"I wasn't going to kill them, I found this on the way up it is a wand, the gremlins have been missing this for years they will
certainly let us pass through without hurting us"

They climbed up the hill and........

And Louise is continuing on the idea.

Iorna, I love that expression: 'an empty vastness'. It paints a lovely picture in my mind.

Amy added this:

They reached the castle door, and entered in. "Welcome to my humble abode, Congratulations you have won the game, now you have a banquet, in your rooms, there are clothes, now go along dress up and then the wishing ceremony will begin"

Kate and Fiona ran up the stairs and into the room, there lying on the bed was the must beautiful clothed they had ever seen in their lives. Thomas and Josh were amazed too they saw cool combat jeans and stuff like that.

When they were all ready they went downstairs to the wishing ceremony.
"Ladys and Gentlemen of Soose, please welcome, the heroes of our land THOMAS, KATE, FIONA AND JOSH" everyone gave a big clap.

After the banquet their was a wishing ceremony and they were allowed make two wishes each.
"I wish we were at home, where we really live, with our parents and not be 2D anymore" Kate said.
"I wish the same" Fiona said.
"Me too" Josh said.
"I wish I could come back here any time I want too and to be at home, not 2D" Thomas said.

"Thomas that is three wishes,
take one out"
"Ok, the same as the others, how do I get back then"
"Dream and you will get back here"
At that very moment they were pushed onto the ground unconcous.

When they woke up they noticed it was all a dream, they were lying on the sofa the tele on, Superman was playing and everything.
"We're home, I I can't believe it" Thomas screamed.
"It must have been a dream"
The key came in the door, it was Mum.
"MUM MUM" They screamed and ran over to her.
"Sorry I'm late kids"
"Mum, we had the weirdest dream" Kate said.

Everyone thought it was a dream, but Thomas knew it was real, deep down inside. Now he is a game designer. But they will always remember that day.

A great end to a great story, Amy - I especially liked the bit about Thomas knowing that it had all been real, even though the others thought that it must have been a dream.
