Cora Harrison added this:	None of them would ever forget that day. It all started when they were walking back from school. There were four of them – two boys and two girls. None of them was a nervous type. Even when the sky turned as black as midnight, and the snow started to pour down, no one was bothered. But then…
Amy added this:	They could hear footsteps behind them, Fiona the eldest of the group gribbed hold of her brothers and sisters hand, they started to walk fast. They could bearly see the path in front of them, the mist was so bad. The heard laughing from behind the trees. The two boys Thomas and Josh ran ahead, Fiona and Kate tried to call them but they wouldn't listen. Kate started to cry and said to Fiona"I'm scared, very scared" This was very unuasual coming from Kate she normally was never scared. The two boys stopped at the top of the path. The girls could see a boy coming out from behind the trees laughing, at Josh. It was Collin Leahy, the boy who was 10 years old and he was in Josh's class. As soon as Kate and Fiona got up to Thomas and Josh, Collin started to talk"HA HA HA you should have seen your faces, you were so scared wait till I telll the boys at school HA HA HA" and he ran off. "Come on, lets go don't worry Josh and Thomas, Dad will sort him out, just you wait" And they walked on home....................	This is great, Amy. You are building up a very exciting story. Now the next writer needs to build in something else scarey so that they don't actually get home. Don't forget the snow!
Sinead Grene - Caherelly added this:	Darkness fell upon them as they walked on home. Kate could only wonder what Fiona was thinking. She didn’t dare ask her. Suddenly they heard a loud crack ahead of them. “What was that?” Fiona shouted. Josh ran ahead to find out, shouting back “Oh, it’s only a tree branch.” They all sighed with relief. “We’re almost there, come on let’s walk faster.”, Thomas said. Kate wondered why a branch would break on this still evening. She kept these thoughts to herself though. Finally, they arrived home. . “Why are all of the lights off?” Kate said. The house was completely dark. Josh wasn’t sure, but he thought he saw something move upstairs through the window of the house………………….	Sinead, that sentence: ‘Kate wondered why a branch would break on this still evening,’ is great. It sent a shiver down my spine when I read it.
Rosie added this:	"Look what is that" shouted Josh. "Don't worry, Josh Mum is probaly feeling ill again, she must be going up to bed for a rest" Fiona said. Kate was silent, terrible thoughts were whizzing up in her mind. Fiona was very strange today, she was very quiet today. And then walking home, Collin came out from behind the trees making fun of Josh. This is not a normal day, who knows what surprise is going to happen next. Thomas called her over "Kate come on you will get your death of cold out here" They opened the door to their house quietly. "Mum, are you awake" whispered Kate "DAD, DAD are you home oh please be home" shouted Josh. "Josh calm down, lets go up stairs to see if Mam is there, OK" Fiona said trying so hard to make it look as if she was not scared. "Ok lets go" Kate said bravely The walked up slowly when suddently...........	Well done, Rosie, you picked up the threads from the earlier bits – not an easy thing to do!
hayley added this added this:	As they tip-toed up the stairs calling out "MUM MUM" but no-one answred. They came to the top of the stairs and creeped over to the room where their mum was lying. "Will we all go in or just me" asked Fiona. I will go in said Josh quickly so in he went and he saw..........	Well, you've raised the excitement level, Hayley. I wonder what will come next!
Amy added this:	Goldi their dog lying under the cover. But where was Mum? "Mums not here" Josh screamed with terror. "She has to be here somewhere, you saw her buy the window didn't you?" Thomas said. "Yes but I wasn't sure if it was her" "I'm scared" Kate said once again. "Lets go outside and ring Dad on the mobile" They headed on down the stairs and out the door, Fiona got out her mobile phone. she dailed Dads work number but it wouldn't ring. "Whats wrong Fiona, why aren't you talking to Dad, what has happened?" Kate asked. "There is no signel, the weather is to bad" "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO" Thomas said. "Josh take Kate and Thomas inside and put on a movie for them, I will go to the shop and get something to eat, when I come home I will make the hot-dogs and we will walk down to Nans" Don't go Fiona please stay, I can't mind them, Mum and Dad never leave me here by myself" "Josh it is the only way we can get help, I will only be a few minutes and anyway I will have my mobile" "Ok but be really careful" Fiona got on her coat and scarf and went down the road and turned the corner, Thomas, Josh and Kate could just see her in the distance. Thomas and Kate followed Josh into the sitting room and they watched "Super Man" Josh turned on all the lights in the house and the Christmas tree lights. It seemed as if they were waiting forever for Fiona to come home. But then 20 minutes later they could she a small figure walking down the road with a plastic bag in her hand, it was Fiona. They ran to the door and...............	I liked how you added to the atmosphere of terror by the mobile phone not working, Amy. Remember that for a later bit.
Rosie added this:	They ran over to her and give her the biggest hug ever. "What did you get" "Hot-Dogs, come on lets go inside I don't wan't Kate to get sick" Fiona made the hot-dogs and they all scoffed them down and went to their rooms to get the stuff they wanted to bring to their Nans house. "Can we bring Goldi" "Of course not Thomas Nans allergic to Dogs and Cats remember" "Oh come on Fiona he will be lonely here buy himself not to metion COLD" "OK bring his leash" The set off to Nans, but then they heard someone calling them. "FIONA, KATE, JOSH, THOMAS COME HERE" It was..............	Very good, Rosie. You inspired Cillian to put in another twist to the story.
Cillian St Josephs added this:	It was Colin. But was it Colin? Colin, that fat, curly-haired ten-year-old who mocked and joked his way through life - was this really him? The four stared at him. “He looks kinda weird,’ said Josh uncertainly. “He’s…” said Kate. “Sorta transparent,” finished Fiona in a whisper. Goldi gave a whimper and ran behind Thomas, her tail tucked between her legs. The snow flakes drifted down and melted on their faces as they stood there staring at the boy. But they didn't melt on Colin's face...	This is great, Cillian. Much more exciting than just having one of the parents turn up!
Jessie Ryan added this:	Fiona took a few steps back worriedly saying " lets go to Nan's house, we can tell her the whole story." Josh , Kate and Thomas all agreed at once. They started to walk towards their Nan's house which was just down the road. Suddenly, Josh looked back to see if they were still been followed and to his dismay transparent Colin was only inches away from them just staring straight ahead. Josh took a large gulp and said " Fio,Fiona I think we should...." Fiona turned around and shouted " RU, RU, RUN!!" They all ran as fast as their legs could carry them. They ran in the gate of their Nan's house and knocked on the door. The door creaked open.....................	You’re building up the tension very nicely, Jessie. I can see that you are good at writing stories.
Amy added this:	"NAN NAN NAN ARE YOU HERE" Fiona said"She's not here, where has the town gone" Kate went back through her day, thinking about what had happened. "I think this is just another joke from one of YOUR school friends JOSH, why can't you just stay away from them, YOU know what there like, ITS ALL YOUR FAULT" STOP! Yelled Fiona. "Why are we fighting we should be worring about Mum, Dad and Nan, they have to be together" "Are you sure their was no note at the house" Thomas asked. "I looked I couldn't find one" At that second Fionas mobile rang, Fiona answered"Hel, Hello" The deep dark voice said roughly"Hello Fiona" "Who was it Fiona" "I don't know" "Maybe it was Dad, just trying to scare us" "NO, IT COULDN'T BE"...........
