YAY! Its my Birthday.Father received this diary for me.Its just the way i like it,many blank pages. Anyway , I should start with my life here in ireland. Im Peggy.Im an eleven year old girl from Clare.I have two brothers who are twins and one sister.My family just moved here from america to start a new life.My real name is actualy kitty.We changed it to Peggy to blend in with the Irish.My brothers are Tommy and Timmy , my sister is mary-ann.
Mother and Father never let us say their real titles so since i will forbid any one to look at this,father's name is Josh and Mother's is Sally.I must return tomorrow and jot down more tomorrow.

Hello again
today the twins started school while myself and mary-ann stayed home for the house work.There was very little to do so when we finshed we went out to the market for a little look.Mary-ann wanted nearly everything there.From Pigs to Cows she wanted them all.But I saw something i liked.A little golden book with blank pages just like this book.I thought i might change books or keep one spare.I went over and asked how much for this book.He said it was for nothing.I asked if i could have it and he said beware for this book will give you powers of all sorts.I took it and put it under my jacket,safe from robbers until we got home.I went straight to my room and when i opened it,it was filled with writing?
Mary-ann wanted to see it to so we sat on my bed and opened it.Then the strangest thing happened.Mary-ann pointed at a fly on the wall...........and all of the wall froze over?

I dont believe it I set the wall on fire
but how?why? that guy did say that it would give me powers beyond my wildest dreams.I must have the power of fire.Mary -and has ice.And i can fly this is great we could fly to the north pole and make more ice.I will get mary-and to do it.

I have not written in a long time ad i am so sorry for that.I had alot going on.I needed to help people while mary-ann now knowen as "ice"
i am still plain old kitty with a hint of fire.the power has gone to ``ice`` head
why did i ever show her that book?
i finished the book and i have super speed.I hate ``ice``now because she has turned evil.I miss the old mary-ann

i just woke up in bed beside mary-ann
she went to blast me with ice but nothing happened. i still cant believe i won
i pulled off the covers of my bed to find an ice dagger there.thats how i won she killed me.i only have three minutes to live so i write to you reader of the future never get a book that could give you powers and i finaly have to say goodbye

what became of the book?
well her mother asked kitty before she died and Kitty told her how they got the powers and where the book was, so her mother burned the book so no one could read it again
