Message:Thanks, Cora!!! I have already started writing a book and it is called "The Curse of Eternal Unhappiness" and "An Orphan's Dream". For The Curse of Eternal Unhappiness, I have managed to write 3 chapters and I have only yet to be started on the other one. I'd really like it if you would be able to read it and give me your feedbacks because it would really help me. I do really apologize with any mistakes I have made but I will try and perfect it!!! Is there any way to send it to you?

Message:There are so many careers open to someone who is good at English - writing a book, in a way, has to start as a private activity - no one will pay you to write a book - not until you are very famous. Usually, you write the book, you send it to an agent, or to lots of agents and it's a red-letter day when one takes you on. Then the agent tries your book on a few publishers. If one accept it, then you will get an advance on the money that they hope to make from it and then, perhaps, you can be a professional writer.
But it's probably best to start off with some career where you are continually writing and polishing up your writing skills and to progress from there.

Message:I love all kinds of genre's of books. You name it: Romance, Sci-fic, Thriller, and etc. At times I feel as if I was born to dedicate my life to reading and writing because that's what I am always attracted too. My affections towards books are unbreakable. I'm sorry, with my passion for books, I guess I kinda can't expressing myself to somebody who understands me! Is it okay, if I keep telling you have I feel? I may not know you, but I know that you are a great listener through your books!

Message:My English is very good. I get top marks in my year group and I can't stop writing! In my spare time, I like to read and write. My mother thinks that I am reading because it help progress my writing skills but to be honest I read books because I feel as if I'm able to connect with the author's words. I love to read because it takes me away from my life, away from the reality into a little fantasy which builds up every time a reader inspires me. Somehow, none of my close friends believe the power of what books can do to you.

Message:River-Ocean: A nice compromise might be to aim at journalism. How is your English (from a teacher's point of view)? I remember when I was your age my mother wanted me to go for a job in a bank - which didn't make much sense as I never could add up - or even count reliably.

Niamh: A good idea for writing a story is to think of a person - really imagine him or her - and then give that person a problem - in the working out of the problem the story will have a good beginning, middle and ending.

Message:I am sorry for not making anything clear to you. I am fifteen years old and as long as I remember, I have wanted to be a writer but I fear that maybe I am not good enough to be a writer and just be somebody who I am not.
I hope this helps you answer my questions. Sorry for the bother.

Message:I haven't really answered all of your questions because it's difficult to know what to say when I don't know how old you are and what options are open to you.
I'd love a few more details and then will do my best.

Message:Hey Cora!!! i just read your book "I was Jane Austen's best friend" and i have to say i thought it was fabulous! i mean i could almost imagine everything you said in my head and almost making it into a movie. i just like to ask a few questions:
1) Was being an author your long life dream?
2) what inspired you?
3) Did anybody else encourage you to do something else than writing?
i'm sorry but i have always enjoyed writing and i don't know what to do because certain people in my life want me to be something else which i am not good at.......what would you do in my situation? i just wants some advice and talk to somebody who really understands what i am going through!!!
Sorry about the questions!
i hope you write more boo

It's Molly again. I read Debutantes, and I love it. I think I like Poppy best, though I like everyone. I can't wait for the next book.

I love writing stories-none of them are very good, but I still write them.

Message:Taiane: It was years before I knew really what sprigged muslin is - though I liked the sound of the words. Muslin is a very fine, soft cotton, imported from India and the 'sprigged' bit means that it had tiny flowers, often of the same colour as the muslin, embroidered (stitched) on to it.
