Message:Hi Cora! I met you at Swinford Library. You told me that I could send you a story. I tried sending you one called "The Explosion in the Sky" but it didn't get on the internet yet. I have read Viking at Drumshee and I really liked Emer. I think Millenium @ Drumshee is the best though. Say hello to Wolf from me. Bye!

Message:Lorna: It’s funny you should say that about Ivar, because I really liked him, also, and I have just finished a book Drumshee Chronicles Book 3 which is set in 1014, the time of the Battle of Clontarf, and it is about Ivar’s two grandchildren who look just like him. Glad you like ‘Titanic’ also.

Michelle: I enjoyed meeting you and your friends. The Drumshee Chronicles should be out at the end of the week.
Sarah: It was nice to see you again. Has the move worked out well for you? In the millennium@drumshee I wrote about a girl who hated a move. However, eventually it all worked out for her.

Message:Kayleigh& Ciara: Glad you liked ‘Titanic’. I think you are quite right, Kayleigh, Lady Victoria shouldn’t have taken Tabitha’s doll away from her. It was too precious to Tabitha.
Aisling & Lauren: Try Eason’s for ‘Gorgeous’. That’s probably the best shop. Ask at the counter.
Orla & Laurey: No treasure yet, I’m afraid.
Katie: Glad you liked the bookmark.
Rachel: Glad you liked ‘Gorgeous’.

Susan: I’m glad you enjoyed my talk. Yes, I think I would recognise the girl who inspired ‘Nuala & her Secret Wolf’.
Edel & Laura; Chloe & Shannon: Thanks for your good wishes – glad you enjoyed ‘The Secret of Drumshee Castle’. Hope you get the Drumshee Chronicles. They’re out at the end of the week.

Jennifer from Killeeneenmore: Hope you enjoyed ‘Gorgeous’. I’ve given a couple of tips for writing books or short stories.
Jenny & Michelle & Cait & Sarah & Sinead: I hope that you manage to find ‘Gorgeous’. It’s selling out everywhere. Try Eason’s – they’ll order it if they don’t have it. Also, the Drumshee books – if they have sold out, Eason’s will order them. Grace writes to say that she got ‘Gorgeous’ so you could ask her where she got it. By the way, I was retired when I started writing books.
Amy: Thanks for writing – could you expand your bit about the gran into a full story?

Message:Hello to everyone who wrote in while I was away. There are lots of stories. However, many of them are only bits of stories, so I think that in future I will only put stories on the story board if they are good stories (for your age group) and have been finished.

Jennifer & Shannon:
Tips for writing stories: Think of a main character, then give that character a problem to be solved or a goal to be achieved. Then write a very good end to the story. Only after you have done all that should you start to write to the story.
