Message:Thanks for putting my story on the Story Board! I finished Gorgeous in one day. It was really good. I didn't like Ann really. My favourite character was Fern. How many more pages do you think "Who was the Girl?" should go on for? Do you know of any competitions I could enter one of my stories in? Because last Christmas I came first in a competition. All the schools in East-Mayo were in it. My story was called "Puttykins Revenge". I might send it to you sometime.

Message:Amy Mc: I hope you do find time to write a story. I always thought dialogue was a very strong point with you - I'm sure that it would sound very true-to-life.

Heather: I'm not sure about Mayo, but Clare (Sharon who writes on the Storyline won a prize in Clare last year) Limerick and Kerry, and I think Cork have them. Ask your teacher or else ring the library. Probably Castlebar would be best.

I live in Co. Mayo. Is there any competions going on, do you know? I'd certainly enter one! Thanks for telling me.

Message:Maryanna:Just highlight the whole story, copy it (right click on the mouse) and then paste it into the space on the Story Club. Don't worry it's a bigger space than it looks. If you get a message saying it's too much, then try in two halves, but it should be OK.

Claire:I've fixed it - I think it's fine now.

Heather: which county do you live in?

Amy Mc: Yes, I think the story is going well. How is life at Secondary School? I'd love a story - perhaps over the holidays - about what it's like in first year Secondary. Is it mixed, or girls only?

Do you really think my story is good enough to be entered in a compition? I was gobsmacked when I saw what you thought about it. To me, it's a big thing for an author to say that to me!!!

Message:Chloe: I think both Drumshee Chronicles are brilliant - and I got such a schock at the end of Murder Strikes Again to find that the murderer was......?????? but I think Treachery at Midnight is the best Drumshee book ever. What does everyone else think???

Message:Chloe: It’s difficult to say, but you might like to try ‘Murder Strikes Again’. A school in Limerick tried doing that with using a spreadsheet to record possible suspects – motive to murder, opportunity to murder etc. I thought that was a very good idea for a class novel project. If you liked ‘Murder at Drumshee’ you will probably like this one, also. However, there are worksheets for ‘Treachery at Midnight’ (under ‘Banished from Drumshee’) and I haven’t yet done some for ‘Murder Strikes Again’.

Message:Leah: I’m glad you liked the Wolf books. They are great favourites of mine. I hope to have two new Wolf books published soon. They are called: ‘Wolf & the Palace of Gold’ and ‘Wolf & the School for Warriors’

Edel: I wrote ‘The Fed-up Vacuum Cleaner’ because I was fed up with vacuuming cleaning Wolf’s hairs!

Heather: I’ve just put your story on the Story Club board. I think it’s the best story that you have ever done!

Message:Hi Cora
my teacher has asked us to choose one of your books for our class novel next term. Were all bored out of our minds with the one were doing now (not one of yours of course) and hes geting sick of hearing us yawning. We all liked Viking at Drumshee and we used to keep on asking him to read it so he says he'll do another Cora Harrison book.
Why im writing is to ask you which one of the Drumshee Chronicles would you recommend for a class novel "Treachery at Midnight" or "Murder Strikes Again" Please write back before Monday.

Alannah: I like your new story - glad you are enjoying 'Gorgeous'.

Susie: I'm delighed that you like 'Treachery at Midnight'. My editor thinks it's the best book that I've written.

Aimee & Edel: It's lovely to hear from Caherelly again. We are all very well here at Drumshee. I wonder would you like a poster for my two new books, The Drumshee Chronicles Book 1 & 2. Ask your teacher and if he says 'Yes' I'll post it to you.
