Message: | Hi Cora I'm looking forward to the new story club story. How about a fantasy story, something about a girl who believes so much in fantasies, that she finds herself in one. Thats only my opinion! I'm sure it'll be an excellent story anyway.

Message: | Edel: I have two more Wolf books written, but it's up to the publisher, Merlin/Wolfhound when they publish them. You'll have to write to them! In the meantime, you could look at the Wolf page under 'books'. There is quite a bit of information there. David: Thanks for the great story. I'll try and put it on the Story Board tonight.

Message: | Alannah: I think the story I liked best was 'Lost'. I will do my best to find out about short story competitions - there are a lot of talented writers on this website. Yes, I do think that the story 'Who was that Girl?' could be finished by anyone at any stage now. We can start a new story next week, then. I'm going to Knock next week so I will be up in Mayo again. At the moment I am writing a book called 'Who Betrayed Him?' I did three thousand words this morning. It was a good day for it. I enjoyed myself sitting in a warm room, looking out over misty green hills and typing an exciting story.

Message: | Thanks for putting my story on the Story Board! I finished Gorgeous in one day. It was really good. I didn't like Ann really. My favourite character was Fern. How many more pages do you think "Who was the Girl?" should go on for? Do you know of any competitions I could enter one of my stories in? Because last Christmas I came first in a competition. All the schools in East-Mayo were in it. My story was called "Puttykins Revenge". I might send it to you sometime.

Message: | Amy Mc: I hope you do find time to write a story. I always thought dialogue was a very strong point with you - I'm sure that it would sound very true-to-life. Heather: I'm not sure about Mayo, but Clare (Sharon who writes on the Storyline won a prize in Clare last year) Limerick and Kerry, and I think Cork have them. Ask your teacher or else ring the library. Probably Castlebar would be best.

Message: | Maryanna:Just highlight the whole story, copy it (right click on the mouse) and then paste it into the space on the Story Club. Don't worry it's a bigger space than it looks. If you get a message saying it's too much, then try in two halves, but it should be OK. Claire:I've fixed it - I think it's fine now. Heather: which county do you live in? Amy Mc: Yes, I think the story is going well. How is life at Secondary School? I'd love a story - perhaps over the holidays - about what it's like in first year Secondary. Is it mixed, or girls only?

Message: | Chloe: It’s difficult to say, but you might like to try ‘Murder Strikes Again’. A school in Limerick tried doing that with using a spreadsheet to record possible suspects – motive to murder, opportunity to murder etc. I thought that was a very good idea for a class novel project. If you liked ‘Murder at Drumshee’ you will probably like this one, also. However, there are worksheets for ‘Treachery at Midnight’ (under ‘Banished from Drumshee’) and I haven’t yet done some for ‘Murder Strikes Again’.

Heather: I’ve just put your story on the Story Club board. I think it’s the best story that you have ever done!
