Message:Alannah: Yes, I have your story safe and I'll put it on when you have sent me the ending.

Maryanna: Are you sure that you clicked the 'send your story' button?Try doing it twice for good luck!
Which school are you from? I wonder is there anyone who can help you if that doesn't work. Please get back to me. Tell me, step by step, what you are doing. You're the first that has had problems.
By the way, you need to be on-line while you are sending the story. Perhaps that is it. The connection might have broken before the story is sent.

Message:So you have assemblies in Dunmanway - that's interesting! I thought it was just English schools that had them. Perhaps your principal taught in an English school and thought they were a good idea for bringing the whole school together. What do you think?

Message:Heather: I've put your story on the Story Club board. I thought it was excellent. Your dialogue sounds so authentic (true-to-life) and you obviously plan your ending before you start. That is the secret of a good story.
By the way, I noticed that you spoke of 'Assembly'. Do you have assembly in Irish schools, or is that something you've picked up from reading books set in England?

Message:Alannah: Yes, that's fine. I'll save the story for you and then you can add to it from time to time. Just use me as your story bank!
By the way, are you allowed to use your own floppy disk in school? That might be useful to you because you can just insert your floppy disk and carry on from where you left off.

Message:I've sent another story to you. It's a bit short but I hope you don't mind. I'm going to write another story about it too.
Is there any way you can save your story that you're sending to you because I have to use the computers at school and I can never write a good lomg story.

Message:Loads of good ideas for stories – I’ll just give it another few days and let the ideas flow in and then I’ll start a new story.

Sinead: I’ll be really interested to know what you think of ‘Murder Strikes Again’. Did you read ‘Murder at Drumshee’?

Alannah: I know what you mean about a long story being good - the trouble is that people often haven’t the patience to read back if the story is too long and then mistakes can occur. I think this time we should ban people of the same name in the story. It does get confusing!

Message:Maryanna: No, I have got your story yet. This is what you need to do:
1. On the opening page click Story Club
2. When you see the story ‘Who Was that Girl’, click on the words Story Club in the top right-hand corner.
3. Then you should see a page with a photo of some of the Story Club girls.
4. Above it are the words: ‘have you written…click here'. Do this.
5. Then you should get a page where you fill in your name, age, school, and title of story.
6. Then paste the story from your computer into the space at the bottom.
7. Then click on the button that says: ‘Post your story to the Story Club’

Message:My idea for a story maybe could be an adventure story. Like something to do with a jungle or something. Or something about bullying. I think a long story would be good since all the other stories always end really soon!
