Message:Yes, I remember that one, Brigid. And I do have it, but again, it's only a few lines. Now you would not like to buy a book and find only a few lines, would you?
Why don't you take my advice and start your story on your own computer and add a bit every day and then send it to me when it is ready.
That's what I have to do with my publishers.

Even though I have had 45 books published I still have to finish a book before sending it off for them to say whether they like it or not.

Message:I got your latest story, Brigid, but two lines is far too short - I need at least a page of typed-out story - preferably with an ending - before it's worth going to the trouble of putting it on the Story Board.
Why don't you just keep it on your own computer and add a few lines everyday and then when it is finished send it to me.

Message:Brigid: My first book was called 'Nuala & her Secret Wolf' and was about a girl who rescued a wolf cub and reared it secretly - eventually it saved her life.

I don't think I am very famous, but I do enjoy being an author. Once of my treats recently was to have a champagne and smoked salmon breakfast with one of editors on a rooftop restaurant in Trafalgar Square in London.

My faourite Drumshee book is 'Dark Days at Drumshee' which is about the time of Oliver Cromwell.

Message:I enjoyed doing the e-mails, too, Jennifer. It was the first time that I had done anything like that and it made a change from the other Drumshee books which were focused on the past history of Ireland.

Hope you liked the dog!
