Message:Sekena: Yes, Gorgeous has proved to be a very popular book and has been a best-seller for the publisher. I'm glad you liked it.
Cian: I'll let you know about the new books as soon as I have news of them. All I know at the moment is that they are at the printers.
Aisling: Yes, 'Doomed to Die' is a sort of sequel to 'Viking at Drumshee'. Nessa and Lochlainn are the grandchildren of Emer.
Clodagh: There will probably be a new story starting soon, but this story is great and I would like it to be properly finished off. There's no reason why you can't join in - just make sure you read the whole story carefully first.

Message:Cora: when will a new story start. I like the one that Eanna and Bridget are writing but it's too far on for other people to join in. I think one of them should finish it off now.

Message:hi Cora,
i loved Viking at Drumshee so I am really looking forward to the new book Doomed to Die if that is the one that is the followup to viking at Drumshee. I hope Emer is in that too as I really liked her character.

Message:Hi Cora,
Any news of your books yet? I'm like Alan I keep going in to the bookshop and having a look. Will you put some details of them on your website as I'm not sure which one to buy in case my mam only allows me enough money for one.
She says the books are very good for my history so I might be able to get the money for the two of them out of her.

Message:Hi Bridget: Thanks for clearing that up. I'm really curious about you. I would love to know about living in the States and what life is like there. My life is very boring at the moment. My Dad and Mum are both teachers and we have a caravan and we go to Kerry every year for holidays. I used to like it when I was young but now I am bored with it all. I start secondary school in Septmeber and I cant wait! Please write back and tell me all about yourself. How did you find Cora's website (Hi Cora!)

Message:Cillian: I've put your story on the Story Board and I've put the two bits together. You have a great idea there - SCi-Fi is very popular - but don't let the mechanics of describing the new world get in the way of the storyline.
Bridget: I have two new books coming out shortly - I've just gone down the hill to our post box - about a quarter of a mile - to check the post. The author always gets ten copies in advance. They weren't there today, but I hope to get them sometime soon.

I misunderstood your question when you asked if my mom was a teacher. And yes, she was. Before she began to homeschool me, she was a university professor.
Hi Ms Harrison:
Do you have any new books coming out?

Message:Hi Claire,
Yes, my mom teaches me. Sometimes I can be a real pain when it comes to doing my schoolwork, but my mom enjoys it anyway. And it was a complete accident that the water came through the ceiling.

I was wondering if your mom is a teacher. My mom is a teacher, but she says she'd hate to teach me!
Was your mum doing a science experiment in pourosity when the bathwater came thru the ceiling?
Hi Cora: Don't forget to tell us when the new books are out. I can't wait!

Message:Ms Harrison:
Home shooling is usually fun, except when my mom gets stressed out. I think my brother and sister and I are learning more. We don't get to see other kids much, except when we go to Swim Team or church.
I don't like school either unless I'm in a good mood, but in our house it's really far from boring.
Sometimes, in the middle of our schoolday, my mom will accidentally try to soak something in the bathtub upstairs but forget to turn off the water. Of course the water goes straight through the cieling.

Message:Hi Cora
Just back from my hols - don't ask -yes, you've guessed it - boring, boring and boring again. Nothing but me and my two sisters and we all kept fighting. I'm glad to be back again on favourite website. Hi Cillian!
Hi Bridget: What is home schooling like? I think I would be bored. Don't get me wrong! I hate school sometimes and I always moan about it, but to be honest I miss it when I'm not there. Please, please, please write back and tell me all about it.

Message:Bridget: I was just reading through the Story Club story and thinking how good it is. It would be great if some more people join in, although perhaps they might prefer to wait until a new story has started.
Ben: I'm delighted that you have some of my books. Which one did you like best? Did you buy them from Amazon? I don't suppose they would be in bookshops in USA.
Cillian: Great to hear from you again. I put your story on the Story Board. In a couple of days' time I'll put the three bits together.
Yes, I've only put a few of the Story Club stories on the board. I must start doing it again. We've had some great stories. Have you read the current one? I think it's excellent. Could you join in, or do you want to wait for a new one?

Message:Dear Ms Harrison,
Yes, in most places kids are on holiday too. Most schools are starting September 1st, but since my family does home schooling we chose to start in a few days. Thanks for asking!

Message:Bridget: That's fine. I was wondering. By the way, I'm sure Sorcha didn't mind. It worked out fine that her bit went before yours. She's probably on holiday now - lots of the kids are. The schools go back on the first of September. Is it the same in USA

Message:Dear Ms Harrison,
I submitted the story "Family Fellowship" to the Story Club. Unfortunately, I used the names of real people. My mom told me I am not supposed to do that. Will you please delete the parts I already submitted? I will re-submit them with the names changed. Thank you!

Message:Alan: there's been a bit of delay at the Publishers and 'Doomed to Die' & 'A Life for a Life' haven't gone to the printers yet. They should be in the shops sometime in August, but I'll let you know. Anyway, if you are ever in a bookshop - and this goes for everyone - please do ask for them. This creates a demand and makes the bookshops order more of my books and enables me to keep on writing Drumshee books.
Eanna: I hadn't even noticed that. I was so taken by the excellence of your writing! I will fix it, though. Don't worry.
