Message: | Bridget: Like everyone else I found your account of your life in Idaho to be fascinating. What is it like there during the summer months? Is it hot? Please do call me Cora. Ireland is a very informal place! Bridget & Eanna: Congratulations on a great story (thought there is no reason why other people can't take part.)

Message: | Hi Eanna: We have to be twelve to have a gun, but when we use it, we have to be supervised. Hi Claire: Swimming in Kerry sounds like a lot of fun. I rarely get to see open water, other than rivers and lakes. I have read some of Cora Harrison's books, but not the Drumshee Chronicles. They sound good! Hi Cian: I don't have a gun club, I just go shooting with a friend. Are potatoes important crops in Ireland? They are where I live. Other than corn that's about all farmers grow. What do you think of plumbing as a job? Hi Ms Harrison: I've noticed that most people call you Cora. I'm so used to called an adult Ms or Mr, so I wasn't sure if you thought it was appropriate if I called you Cora or not.

Message: | Bridget: It sounds really cool to go to gun club. I don't think were allowed to have a gun under eighteen, or perhaps it's twenty-one. My dad has a licence for a shotgun. He shoots crows with it when they start rooting up our potatoes. By the way, I live in Kerry in the south-west of Ireland. I live near the sea - in fact I can see it from my bedroom window. We have a 150 acre farm. I'm hoping to be a farmer when I grow up, but my dad says that there's not much of a future in it. He thinks that I should be a plumber!

Message: | message 2 for Bridget Have you read any of Cora's books. I would recommend the Drumshee Chronicles as they are a bit more grown-up than the timeline series. I thought Treachery at Midnight was excellent and I am looking forward to getting the two new books when they come out.

Message: | Hi Bridget That was really interesting - it's like a film quite exotic for someone like me that lives in a boring small rainy city called Cork in the south of Ireland. What do I do? Well, not a lot - no guns no sharks. I do go swimming but it's just up and down a swimming pool. When the weather is warm I go swimming in Kerry and I like that because the waves are sometimes huge. What else do I do? Well, I go into the middle of the city and I meet my friends and we walk around and meet other girls from my school and we giggle and talk and send text messages.

Message: | This is number 3 - the last entry! I found Cora Harrison's website through my mom. It started when we were in a bookstore and my mom found The Viking at Drumshee for my brother. But he wanted an expensive book on dragons. My mom wouldn't get him the dragon book, but got him the Drumshee book anyway. Once he started reading it he wanted more! So when my mom was trying to find a Chrismas present for him, she came across the website, and showed me the story club. Please write back!

Message: | I live in a desert (not the sandy kind, the volcanic basalt kind). There are trees (mostly pine trees), and rivers, and huge mountains everywhere. Actually I live in one of the rockiest places in our country. There are places like Kansas where you can practically see all the way across the state because it's so flat. I hear that in Ireland most people are Catholic, like my family. Where I live most people are Mormon, a religion that is truly American! Just as a completely unrelated fact, my brother's favorite food is buffalo jerky! That's probably truly American, too!

Message: | Hi Claire: I've never had anyone ask me questions like yours before. For me it's amazing to be able to communicate with someone in Ireland. Well, you asked about me so basically I'm on the local Swim Team, I go scuba diving (in an indoor tank with sharks and piranhas) and target shooting with a friend (are people allowed to own guns where you live?), I'm going to help start a craft club with some friends of mine, and I do Greco-Roman wrestling a little bit. (Rulon Gardner, the Olympic wrestling champion, lives close to here.) More is coming. I didn't have enough room to put everything in at once.

Message: | Sekena: Yes, Gorgeous has proved to be a very popular book and has been a best-seller for the publisher. I'm glad you liked it. Cian: I'll let you know about the new books as soon as I have news of them. All I know at the moment is that they are at the printers. Aisling: Yes, 'Doomed to Die' is a sort of sequel to 'Viking at Drumshee'. Nessa and Lochlainn are the grandchildren of Emer. Clodagh: There will probably be a new story starting soon, but this story is great and I would like it to be properly finished off. There's no reason why you can't join in - just make sure you read the whole story carefully first.

Message: | Hi Cora, Any news of your books yet? I'm like Alan I keep going in to the bookshop and having a look. Will you put some details of them on your website as I'm not sure which one to buy in case my mam only allows me enough money for one. She says the books are very good for my history so I might be able to get the money for the two of them out of her.

Message: | Hi Bridget: Thanks for clearing that up. I'm really curious about you. I would love to know about living in the States and what life is like there. My life is very boring at the moment. My Dad and Mum are both teachers and we have a caravan and we go to Kerry every year for holidays. I used to like it when I was young but now I am bored with it all. I start secondary school in Septmeber and I cant wait! Please write back and tell me all about yourself. How did you find Cora's website (Hi Cora!)

Message: | Cillian: I've put your story on the Story Board and I've put the two bits together. You have a great idea there - SCi-Fi is very popular - but don't let the mechanics of describing the new world get in the way of the storyline. Bridget: I have two new books coming out shortly - I've just gone down the hill to our post box - about a quarter of a mile - to check the post. The author always gets ten copies in advance. They weren't there today, but I hope to get them sometime soon.

Message: | Ms Harrison: Home shooling is usually fun, except when my mom gets stressed out. I think my brother and sister and I are learning more. We don't get to see other kids much, except when we go to Swim Team or church. I don't like school either unless I'm in a good mood, but in our house it's really far from boring. Sometimes, in the middle of our schoolday, my mom will accidentally try to soak something in the bathtub upstairs but forget to turn off the water. Of course the water goes straight through the cieling.

Message: | Bridget: I was just reading through the Story Club story and thinking how good it is. It would be great if some more people join in, although perhaps they might prefer to wait until a new story has started. Ben: I'm delighted that you have some of my books. Which one did you like best? Did you buy them from Amazon? I don't suppose they would be in bookshops in USA. Cillian: Great to hear from you again. I put your story on the Story Board. In a couple of days' time I'll put the three bits together. Yes, I've only put a few of the Story Club stories on the board. I must start doing it again. We've had some great stories. Have you read the current one? I think it's excellent. Could you join in, or do you want to wait for a new one?
