Message: | Katie: I'm not sure what Castle Bookshop is like - some small bookshops only stock a few best-sellers. Why don't you ask and see if they would order or else get it at the library. You could get it in Castlebar or Galway, but perhaps you don't go there too often.

Message: | Sarah C.: Nice to hear from you again. Heather: I think 'Treachery at Midnight' is the best book that I have written, although a recent review said that 'Doomed to Die' is my best work so far. I wonder if others agree with that. Yes, I do get to choose the illustrator and give suggestions for the cover, these days. What do you think of the cover of 'A Life for a Life'? Yes, I write the blurb these days - sometimes the publisher might change a few owrds just to get it to fit. For instance in 'Doomed to Die' I put: 'Who will live, and who will die at Clontarf'? and when I saw the cover it was changed to 'Who will live and die at Clontarf?' which is not so good, I think.

Message: | Hi Cora Sorry I wasn't on for a while, I was a bit busy! In our school we had a book fair, and I bought two of your books, Treachery at midnight and A life for a life. I've read all of Treachery, it was great! I loved how it was exciting at every moment, you think it's over, and then suddenly, there's loads of action! I'm starting A life for a life now. By the way, I was wondering, do you design the cover of your books, like do you chose what the publishers put on it? And do you write the blurb at the back yourself?

Message: | I've put a bit on to the story. I think Bridget had a great idea of describing the village hall in such a creepy way. I went to a prty last night in a village hall and it was no way as good as that. Still we had great fun and I didn't get up until 11.00 this morning.

Message: | Hi Claire: Thanks. Not many people use fireworks here. Most people just dress up and go trick-or-treating. I did go to a Halloween party last night, though. The hostess had hired me to be a gypsy and pretend to do fortune telling.

Message: | Hi Bridget: That's a great start to the Halloween story. Are you going to a Halloween party tonight? And if so, are you allowed to use fireworks. In this country they are supposed to be against the law (though lots of people have them).

Message: | Alannah: I'm so sorry that I forgot to put your chapter seven on your story. October is always terribly busy for me as I have to go to so many libraries and schools. Chapter Seven is excellent. Keep up the good work - and I do think you should give your story a title now. It probably stops other people reading it when it is just entitled 'No Title as Yet'

This site is probably safer than the majority of Internet sites because there are loads of safeguards attached to it and I monitor it every day - sometimes six or seven times a day! As for sending you books, remember I have thousands of fans all over Ireland and if I sent books to all of them I would be very poor! I only get six books for myself and after that I have to buy them just as you can buy them yourself.

Message: | NEW STORY STARTING IN A FEW MINUTES Bridget: Halloween is very special here in Ireland - always was, even when I was young sixty years ago. We didn't go 'trick or treat', but we did have great parties with pumpkins and hollowed-out turnips and bobbing for apples. It's not so special in England.they celebrate Guy Fawkes with bonfires and fireworks. Sarah: Yes, I was thinking about the other day and what a good actor you were. Did you come from Feakle?
