Message:Sarah: I'm so pleased that everything has worked out well for you at school. I think you did the right thing and your friendships with other girls will be better if you are confident.

My favourite colour is green and my favourite flower is a tulip, and I never give my address and none of you should, either.

Message:Sarah: What story of mine are reading? I think its very kind of you to say its excellent.
Cora: Thank you so much for the help with the title. I think its a good title so you can put it on if you want. I think 'Thirteen - yeah right!' is on page 2 of the stories.

Message:Sarah: I think Cora is quite right. Your friend is probably trying to make you feel guilty (even if she doesn't realise what she is doing). You enjoy yourself with your other friend and she will soon get over it. If you let her see that you are upset she will know how to manage you in future.

Message:Alannah: What about 'A Hard Life'?
I'll try to find your story later on - I think it was quite a long time ago, wasn't it? Do you know how far back it is?

Sarah: I wouldn't feel guilty if I were you. I don't think anyone can own someone else. In my book 'Gorgeous' (on page 137) I made Jessica say:'I'd like us to be friends, but we should agree to each of us having other friends too.'

Message:Cora: That's a shame about the title. Do you have any ideas for a good title?

Message:Katie: Thanks for your message.
Alannah: Hard Times is a good title, but unfortunately it was used by Charles Dickens. He was a writer in the Victorian era - around the time of the Great Famine in Ireland - he also wrote Oliver Twist and Bleak House which is on BBC at the moment.
Eimear: My dream would be to have a big UK publisher take up my new novel for adults and pay me a huge advance and for the film rights to be sold.
Sarah: I think honesty is the best thing. Just tell your friend that you are going with another friend. Don't make a big thing of it - just say it casually.
I suppose the message board could do as a 'worry website' and other people could give advice.
