That necklace comes into almost all of the Drumshee books, starting with 'Nuala and her Secret Wolf' - it was originally lost by Nuala in the well and then the mud from the well was used to cement the blocks of stone in 'The Secret of Drumshee Castle'

Message:Bethan: Where do you live? I think you might be able to buy a signed book from Tara Book Company in Galway - or on Amazon, though that might be more expensive.

Jane Austen Fangirl: Well, you'll have to ask Macmillan Publishers to commission another one. I have loads more information about Jane and her family up my sleeve!

Message:Sarah: I think it is easier for me, and more useful to you if you at least get a few pages written before you send it to me.
Ideally it would be best if it were finished - or almost finished, because then my comments would probably be of more use - but if you want advice on an ending or something then about half way through the story would be fine.

I'm a great re-reader of books, too. I have some special books by my bed and when I can't sleep or feel a bit depressed I turn to one of these.

Message:It depends on the number of the words and the size of the font - for a child's book - like my London Murder Mysteries about 34,000 words will give about 200 pages, whereas for an adult book about 70,000 words will give about 230 pages - about 300 words to a page for books for adults.

So you've written the story in long hand and are just typing it out. I didn't realise that. Well done! What a lot of work. In future, if I were you, I'd write my stories straight on to a computer. It makes life much easier when it comes to changing it.
I hope you are saving it now, though I'm sad that you don't have Microsoft Word. Perhaps some one might get you a present of a laptop some time. You deserve it.
