Message:Declan: Your book sounds great. If you have typed it on your computer you could send it to the Story Club and then kids all over the world could read it. You just copy it (in the 'edit' menu) and then paste it into the Story Club with your name, your school (no home address, or email address, please) and your age. I'll read it and put a comment and then post it on the Story Club board. give my best wishes to everyone at Corrofin school. Have any of you read the story of the battle of Dysart O'Dea (A Life for a Life)?

Message:Caoimhe: Don't worry about whether a story is the best you can produce - story writing is a matter of practice. Just keep writing lots of them and send them in so that other people can look at them and enjoy them.

Summer: If I were going to look for information about poverty ins 17th century London then I would just put it into Google and see what turned up. I think that poverty in 19th century London would be easier to find out about as a lot was written on that subject, including, of course, most of the Charles Dickens novels.
