Message:Hi Cora,
I wrote a while back. In answer to your questions: I haven't been able to read Body in the Fog (somehow it didn't get seen on my Christmas wishlist) but I'm looking forward to reading it and I come from the UK. Recently I've been reading some Sherlock Holmes stories and I was wondering if you liked them too?

Message:just the sort of message I love to get!
I chose to write about an Iron Age girl because we have an Iron Age fort behind our cottage.
I began the series in 1997 and went on until I had written 17 books.
If I could change anything I would make Nuala a much longer book.
This was a retirement project, but now I have had fifty books published.
Of the Drumshee series I think Drumshee Castle is my favourite. I began it when I found some stones from a castle up in our fort and I set it in the time of Queen Elizabeth I as that is a favourite time in history for me.
Thanks for the great questions.

Message:Hello Cora,

We're a 4th class from Co. Wicklow and we read your book Nuala and Her Secret Wolf as our class novel. We really enjoyed reading it and we came up with a few questions.
Why did you choose Nuala to write about?
Why did you write about the Iron Age?
How long ago did you start writing the Drumshee series?
If you could change anything in the book, what would you change?
How many books have you written?
What was your favourite book to write?

Thank you

Message:I think that I would love to do Rose. As I am a writer and she was a writer I would have more in common with her - I am not particularly good at dressmaking or clothes designing, and I'm certainly no good at playing music.

Message:I just read the message board:P and saw that if you were to do a third Debutantes book, it may be on Rose. I think it would be great to have a book from her point of view!!, as you have touched on the other sister's views:)

Message:Hi Cora:)
Is there any chance of you writing a third book in the Debutantes series??

Message:Well, from the point of view of an author, I get 25% of the cost of every e-book sold and I get 10% of the cost of every hardback sold and only 7.5% of every paperback sold so from the point of view of an author I think they are a good thing.

From the point of view of a reader, I like e books for light fiction, but prefer 'real' books for non-fiction and for books that I treasure.

Hope this is a help.

And it was very interesting finding out about Jane Austen's life and about her brothers and sister, and, of course, her cousin.
