Message:Dear Cora, in Wolf in the Midnight Forest,
can you tell me why did you pick Wolf to be the main character (along with Mark) rather than another animal?
Thank you

Message:Nicole: Have you a computer at home? I always write my books on a computer and then I can change anything. With my book for adults, it was about 250 pages long and my editor in London wanted it longer so I managed to insert another 150 pages into it. That would have been a nightmare without a computer.

Message:Orla: Thanks for your lovely message. If you have any ideas about Mark let me know. You seems to understand him very well.

Megan: I think a girl like you who writes well and has a good sense of humour could write a very good story about nine-year-olds trying to be grown-up and dressing-up and trying out make-up. Try it and see. Put plenty of dialogue in it. I find once my characters begin to talk they become real. (By the way, thanks for saying 'thanks' - very few people bother and it's always lovely when someone remembers.)

Message:Alannah: Sorry, I've been very busy - just done 100,000 for my English publisher, Macmillan. I've just put your story on now.

Yes, it would be good to have another story competition - perhaps one for over tens and one for under tens.
Nicole: Is your story on a computer, or is it hand-written? By the way, the story club is up in the conrer above the story about Bridget - which anyone can add to.

Message:Nicole: You must be a very good reader if you can read 'Treachery at Midnight' and you are only in third class.
Aoife & Aisling: I'm glad you are standing up for your rights. I think I have written 25 children's books, by the way, Aisling.
Aoife: I think it probably took a few weeks to write the book Famine Secret - but it took ages to do all research. You should add a bit to the story on the Story Club - that's about the time of the famine.
Ciara: You must be very nice - Jessica is my favourite character in the book, Gorgeous'.
Orla: I am hoping that as I go through the four Wolf books that Mark gets less shy and gets more confidence in himself.

My favourite character in Wolf in the midnight forrest was both Mark and Wolf. Mark because he was kind, shy and never hurt anyone. I also liked wolf because he is a dog and I love dogs.

Message:Dear Cora.
I really love your book gorgeous ,even though i 'am reading it at the moment it is great. Remember when you came to ST.John's N.S Cratloe, for the 4-6 class, you picked me out as the character called "Jessica". Thank you so much for picking me and I loved being given the chance to play her. My teacher said that I am like her character in real life. Can't wait to read your next book.

Love to hear from you when you get a chance.

Bye for now from Ciara (Jessica !!!)
