Message:Hi Cora:
I do use the word "absently" a lot in my stories. Most of the time it's because I can't think of another word.
I'm glad you like the chapter. I wasn't sure how it was going to work out.
Thanks for the advice!

Message:Bridget: My publisher says that you can get 'Gorgeous' on Amazon.co.uk, so you could ask your mother about that.

Aoife & Bridget: I'll start a story as soon as my web manager has time to sort out the story board. We are going to make it so that entries come straight to me, as in the message board.

Ursula: Don't worry about the writing for the moment as I'm sure you have exams. Make a resolution to start on your first day of holidays and perhaps just do half an hour. Don't bother reading through what you've done, just start straight away and write something. That's what I find is the best thing. You can then go back and revise.

Message:Hi Cora:
If you want preferences on the story, I was thinking that an adventure or thriller would be fun.
Do you know how to get Gorgeous in America? My mom usually gets your books through Amazon, but she couldn't get Gorgeous.

Message:My website manager has now managed to sort out something which will stop people sending silly messages.
Every message that comes will go straight to me and then I will put it on the message board as soon as possible.
Please try it out, someone, so that I can see how it works.

Message:I thought I should warn everyone that arrangements for messages on the Message Board are going to be changed. I've just had fifteen silly messages all sent from the same computer - luckily my website manager has managed to track down the address of the computer so we should be able to put a stop to that.
However, we don't want this nonsense again so we will change the way you send messages. I'll let you know. In the meantime, please do continue to send messages unless you are that person.

Message:Hello Cora, thanks for replying so quickly. I could not write a whole book because I could only do a couple of pages and then give up. I think I would be able to do a short story but I could never write a book. I think it would be really cool if Fiona from the Famine Secret emigrated. You could write about her having to find a new job and finding a place to live and most of all, missing her family.

Bye,

Aoife

Message:Aoife: No, I didn't, though I did think of doing a book about Fiona, in 'Famine Secret at Drumshee', emigrating, but I never get around to it.
I never have much problem with thinking of ideas; the hard bit is sticking with it until you reach the end. I find it best to plan the whole story while I am feeling enthusiastic. I can always change the storyline afterwards if I get a better idea, but it is a help to have it mapped out there in front of me.

Message:Lily: I'm not sure when 'Twice as Gorgeous' is coming out. It's up to Mentor Books.

Declan: Why don't you put another bit on to your story. I think it finishes too quickly. It would be much more interesting if you made a good story out of how he wasted the wishes.

James: What people usually do for swear words is to put the first letter and then a few dots, but I must say I would prefer not to have swear words as young children visit this website. Send it to me and I'll see how it works without them. I'll certainly let you know what I think.

Message:Cora: I want to send in a story to you but the problem is it's got lots of bad launguage, including the effword. Because in real life, lets face it, people do
swear.
There's also a bit about a boy who witnessess a man with stigmata! Which is really scary.

Message:Aisling:} You and I must have been on at the same moment. Anyway, I have 24 children's books published and number 25 will be out soon. It's in Irish, but it's easy to read and is all text messages. My adult book will be out early next year.
As for 'Twice as Gorgeous' you will have to ask Mentor Books when that is coming. I have written it.

Bridget from Rocommon: I'm just finished editing my adult novel and it's been a long job!
Aisling: I'm glad you liked Dark Days. that ties up with 'Famine Secret'
Katey:Where did you get hold of Drumshee Rebels? I thought it was out-of-print.
Aoife:) I mostly get my inspiration from the place that I live in. Have you ever tried to write a pony sotyr? They are very popular.
