Message: | Sarah: That's a good idea. I'll do that straight away. Ann Marie. Sounds like a lovely summer. Do you ride, or does your Dad just breed young horses and sell them before they are trained? I love to see horses on the beach. In Mayo I saw horse racing on the sands once and I have never seen anything more beautiful with a dark blue sea, white waves and pale blue islands in the distance. Bridget: I think I'd die if the temperature rose to that height. That must be about 40 degrees. It was bad enough when it rose to 30. My young dog, a huge German shepherd, was stretched out on the stone floor of the old cottage panting like a steam train.

Message: | Hi Cora: It's almost 100 degrees outside, and my house doesn't have air-conditioning! Idaho isn't humid, so it's not nearly as bad as some places like Florida or Pennsylvania, but I'd still rather have snow than sweat. What's the weather like in Ireland?

Message: | Aoife: 'Nuala and Her Secret Wolf' is out of print, but you might get it in a library. As far as I know 'The Secret of the Seven Crosses' is in print, but, of course, it came out a long time ago so it is probably hard to find. If you live anywhere near to Limerick you might find it in O'Mahonys in O'Connell Street. It would probably be best to telephone first to save yourself a journey.

By the way, I have never been surfing, but I watch people doing it at Lahinch and it looks wonderful fun. Ann Marie: I love the sun, also. What do you do all day? Do you swim, or sunbathe, or surf?

Message: | Cora Harrison: I'm adding a story to the Story Club right now. Claire: Where are you from? I live in west Roscommon (Roscommon won the minor connaught title today!) and for once it's sunny and warm! We usually don't get much of a summer here and get a week long 'heatwave' in March. You must like reading and writing, you were on this the last time I was and that was months ago! Oh yeah, I was looking through the Story Club for one of your stories because I remember thinking that you were a good writer the last time I was on the website. Anyway, I couldn't find one. Can you tell me what page your last story is on if you have one?

Message: | Sarah: Thanks for your message and for a very good ending to the story. I've changed the message and story boards now so that everything comes to me first and then I put it on. Unfortunately, I had a few people sending silly messages so I had to do that. It's a shame because it was much more satisfying to see your message appear instanly, but that's the way it has to be, I'm afraid.
