Message:Dear Cora: I just read your comment on Chp. 3 again and yes, I have planned a dramatic ending, but I don't know if it will do to end it properly...
Dear Claire: Thanks for reading my story! I'd read yours, but I can't find it. What's it called?

Message:Hi Cora: I put a bit onto the story. I wish you'd write some more children's books. I'm really disappointed that there are no new ones this autumn.
Hi Kristine: I love the story. It's great.
Hi Bridget: I'm always meaning to ask you if you read the Laura Ingalls Wilder books when you were young and what did you think of them? I used to love them. Did they go near to where you live in Idaho?

Message:Dear Cora,
I can't remember if we've met. I entered First Year in St. Bridget's Secondary School in Tuam in September, and before that I attended Scoil Mhuire Mercy Primary. Have you ever been there?
Thank you for your help on writer's block, and I can tell you this is the first story I've never had trouble with! I've written three chapters today, that's more then I've written in any story in one day - one week, almost!
I have just posted chapter 4 of "The Bomb".

Message:Kristine: Another great chapter which I have read with great pleasure and just posted onto the Story Board.
There is only one answer to 'writer's block' and that is the professional one: just force yourself to keep on writing. You might change things afterwards - and this is where computers are wonderful - but you never get really stuck and you never have to abandon a story. I can say quite honestly that I have never left a story without finishing it.
I wonder whether I have ever met you. I visited quite a few schools in Tuam over the last few years.

Message:Dear Cora,
I asked the bookshop to order in "Murder Strikes Again" for me, and they said they would. I can't wait to read it!
I can't believe all the compliments you are giving me - it's amazing that I'm actually talking to you - you've written so many fantastic books. It's such an honour! You've been one of my idols since I was eight and I read "Nuala and her Secret Wolf". And now you're actually telling me that I'm a good writer and it's like, wow!
I have loads of stories written on my computer, spur-of-the-moment good idea ones that I don't often finish because of dreaded writer's block!
Do you ever get writer's block? If so, how do you get rid of it?
xx Kristine

Message:Kristine: It's a great pleasure for me to read the work of such a good writer. I think you show great promise and I wouldn't be surprised if you attain your dream of being an author.
Remember, though, that an author has to stick at the story and finish it. I get sad about the number of excellent stories that come in to me and that never get finished.

Message:Hi Cora! I posted my story in your story club and I'd like to thank you for reading it...I really hope to be an author someday, and I love murder stories too! I really enjoyed "Murder at Drumshee", especially the romance between Ita and Mahon, and I'm looking in the bookshops later today for "Murder Strikes Again". I love all your books, but my favourite would have to be "Murder at Drumshee" and "Nuala and her secret Wolf". I've posted Chapter two of "The Bomb" on your story club. Please, will you read it?
xx Kristine

Message:Katrina: Did you enjoy reading 'A Life for a Life'?

Joseph: 'Famine at Drumshee' connects up with quite a few of my books. The father of the children is a young man in 'Secret Spy from Drumshee' and the grandfather of the children is in 'Secret of 1798'. And, also, the great-great-grandchildren of Fiona come into 'World War II - Rescue at Drumshee'.

Niamh and Siobhan: The only murder stories that I have written for children are 'Murder at Drumshee' and 'Murder Strikes Again'. Have you read 'Murder Strikes Again'? If you have, I would be interested to know which of the books you liked the best.
My book for adults is also a murder story and, yes, I do enjoy writing murder stories very much.

I have just finished your book;Famine Secret at Drumshee.I think the book is very very good I also find the book very atractive.
I like the bit when the four children are trying to survive the freak disaster. The start sounds nice comfortable but the bit in the middle gets good when the children come up with a plan to escape the dreaded workhouse and find the big secret in Drumshee.I'll rate the book 10 out of 10.Please come back to Ballyglass school and sign my book.Thank you

Message:Niamh: Funnily enough it took me longer to write 'Nuala' than any of my other books and yet it is one of the shortest. I suppose it took me about a month - and then after the publisher had accepted it, they said it was too short and I had to add some more to it.

Message:Tim: The first book that I wrote was called 'Nuala & her Secret Wolf' and it was book 1 of the 17 Drumshee books. I think books for your age group would probably be the Dragonfly Readers, or else 'Two Mad Dogs' or the 'Wolf' books.
You may notice I changed your message. That is because I don't thik it is a good idea for children to put their email addresses on the Internet.

Message:Hi Bridget: The nearest mountains to us are probably the mountains in Kerry. They are all very beautiful with purple heather. They are near the Lakes of Killarney. I wonder did your mother see them when she was in Ireland. They are probably the most beautiful thing in Ireland.

Hi Kate: Are you from Ballyglass school?

Message:Hi Claire:
Yes, I have seen the Snake River, since it's only about 45 minutes from my house. I don't think the mountains are the Salmon River Mountains, but they might be. Where I live people don't really call the mountains by their real names. They just say "the mountains".
Are there any mountains where you live? I don't have a map of Ireland, so I can't look myself. I know that everything's very green from what my mom has told me, so it's one of the places I most want to see. She visited Ireland when she was about twenty.
