Message:Hi Cora. Just noticed your comment on Chap. 9. Or was it Chap. 8? I'm not sure.
No, I haven't shown it to anyone. I don't ever show my stories to anyone, unless I'm writing it for school or for a fanfiction website, which I don't very often. We don't do much creative writing in school nowadays (we did it every week in Primary school). The rest of my stories I keep in locked folders on my desktop. I don't really like to talk about my stories to people who don't know anything about them. I'm afraid they'll say it's stupid, which often they do.

Message:Ruhlain: The last published book in the series was 'A Life for a Life' (you can see details of it on the books section of this website) and Nuala and her Secret Wolf was published in 1997.

Carmel & Aoife: Two great stories and what is wonderful is that both of them are FINISHED!! I love both stories - though they are very different. I'll put them on the website either later this morning or early this afternoon.

Carmel: Another girl, who comes on this website, is home-schooled, just like you. Her name is Bridget and she lives in America, in Idaho.

Message:Rianna: What a beautifully-written and imaginative episode in the Storyline. I love the line:
'Suddenly the crystal let out a burst of energy and power.'

Gerard: 'Nuala and her Secret Wolf' was the first book that I wrote and I think the idea came because we had just bought a farm - Drumshee - where there is the remains of an Iron Age fort. Whenever I walked around the farm I tried to imagine the people who lived here about two thousand years ago.

Message:Bridget: I remember reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder books to my daughter - a long time ago a- and she just loved them. It taught her a lot of geography, also, as we followed the family with the aid of an atlas.

My mom read the Laura Ingalls Wilder books to my brother and sister and me a couple years ago. I loved them, too. I don't think they came as far west as Idaho, though. They were mostly in hte Michigan/New York area, I think.

Message:Hey Cora!!
What's up? I SO can't wait 4 Christmas now that Halloween is almost over. For the last month in our secondary school all we got was nothing but tests! What a bore!! The Science Test was my worst one... I only got 70%! That's been my lowest score so far!
But anyway, lots of love, from Aoife. XxXx

Message:Hi Cora: I put a bit onto the story. I wish you'd write some more children's books. I'm really disappointed that there are no new ones this autumn.
Hi Kristine: I love the story. It's great.
Hi Bridget: I'm always meaning to ask you if you read the Laura Ingalls Wilder books when you were young and what did you think of them? I used to love them. Did they go near to where you live in Idaho?

Message:Dear Cora,
I can't remember if we've met. I entered First Year in St. Bridget's Secondary School in Tuam in September, and before that I attended Scoil Mhuire Mercy Primary. Have you ever been there?
Thank you for your help on writer's block, and I can tell you this is the first story I've never had trouble with! I've written three chapters today, that's more then I've written in any story in one day - one week, almost!
I have just posted chapter 4 of "The Bomb".

Message:Kristine: Another great chapter which I have read with great pleasure and just posted onto the Story Board.
There is only one answer to 'writer's block' and that is the professional one: just force yourself to keep on writing. You might change things afterwards - and this is where computers are wonderful - but you never get really stuck and you never have to abandon a story. I can say quite honestly that I have never left a story without finishing it.
I wonder whether I have ever met you. I visited quite a few schools in Tuam over the last few years.

Message:Dear Cora,
I asked the bookshop to order in "Murder Strikes Again" for me, and they said they would. I can't wait to read it!
I can't believe all the compliments you are giving me - it's amazing that I'm actually talking to you - you've written so many fantastic books. It's such an honour! You've been one of my idols since I was eight and I read "Nuala and her Secret Wolf". And now you're actually telling me that I'm a good writer and it's like, wow!
I have loads of stories written on my computer, spur-of-the-moment good idea ones that I don't often finish because of dreaded writer's block!
Do you ever get writer's block? If so, how do you get rid of it?
xx Kristine

Message:Kristine: It's a great pleasure for me to read the work of such a good writer. I think you show great promise and I wouldn't be surprised if you attain your dream of being an author.
Remember, though, that an author has to stick at the story and finish it. I get sad about the number of excellent stories that come in to me and that never get finished.
