Message:Hie Cora, Thanks alot! We'll check those Limerick bookstores.

Hello Briget, It must be so cool being the eldest in the family. I've got two older sisters who are not much fun. Mum brought all our books up to year ten when we where kids. The maths is saxon and algebra, and I hate it, but though we started English in rod and staff I changed over in year seven to an Austalian English course. All our other books are american and we've all done American history because Mum says it's so interesting. Gosh, wish I where eldest! From Carmel

Message:Rachel: The picture you saw was probably of Wolf - he was the most beautiful German shepherd that I have ever owned. Unfortunately he got a terrible disease and had to be put to sleep before his fifth birthday. It broke my heart and I vowed never to get another dog, but now I have Oscar, who is a huge, big, short-haired (Wolf was long-haired) German shepherd. He is a very nice dog, but terribly mischievous.
He is the tenth German shepherd dog that I have owned, so you can see that I am devoted to the breed,

Message:That's interesting about all those 'virtual schools'. I always imagined that if you were home-schooled your mother or father would have to make up the curriculum.
Someone asked about Drumshee books for Christmas - I did see a lot in Eason's in Limerick, but that was a week ago so it might be best to telephone first. O'Mahony's in Limerick do usually have a good selection, also. In Clare, it would be Ennis bookshop and I suppose in Galway it would be Eason also.

Of course you could ring the publisher, Mentor, or email them. Their address and telephone number should be on the book page.

Tara book company have all of my books and again their telephone number etc is on the book page of this website.

I live in Idaho in America, so I do the Idaho Virtual Academy. I will be going to a normal secondary school (I think that's the same as High School in America).
I'm the oldest in my family, and I have a younger brother and sister.

Message:Rianna: Yes, it was an excellent story with a superb ending. I used to put them on the Story Board, but then I started getting a lot of stories, so now I just leave them for a few days and then start a new one. I'll see whether I can retrieve it.

Message:Rachel: I'm giving children's books a bit of a rest for a while and concentrating on adult books. My first adult book, My Lady Judge, will be out in May and the second one probably in 2007 and I am now writing the third one. As you can see, it takes publishers a long time to get things from typescript to hardback!

Message:Rachel: yes, there are 13 Drumshee Timeline books, but then there are four Drumshee Chronicles books. If you look at 'Books' on this website you will see all about them. 'Murder Strikes Again' is the first of the Drumshee Chronicles.

Carmel: The Christmas story can be any length that you like. I don't mind - a story should be the elngth that the author feels is right.

Message:It might be interesting to do a Christmas Story Competition - just a short story about Christmas and the prize is one of my books. When you send in your entry say which book you would like. I will judge it in the first week in January.
Please put the address of your school on your entry (if you don't have a school, you might have to trust me with your address, but do check with a parent that this is OK. Only I ever see the Story Club entries.)

Message:Rachel: Welcome to the website. I'm glad that you like 'Murder at Drumshee', have you read 'Murder Strikes Again'? this is a new mystery, but it has the same characters, Ita, Mahon etc. I think you might enjoy it.

Carmel: Many, many thanks for a wonderful, poetic and imaginative ending to the story on the Storyline Board. I was afraid that it had all got to be so complicated that it would take a professional writer to to finish it, but you managed magnificantly.

I'll try to think up a beginning for a Christmas story tonight.
