Hello Bridget; I was scrolling though old messages and I saw that you are homeschooled to! Do you do just Saxon schoolwork or a mix of everything? Are you going to go to school for secondry or will you stay at home? I'm in grade nine and I haven't gone to school yet, I'll be going to college for the last two years. How many brothers and sisters have you got? I have 5 sisters and 4 brothers from 18 to 4. I'm 15, third eldest. From Carmel

My brother Sean, who's 10, has read a couple of the Drumshee books and he realy likes them and my sister Clare, who's 7, is reading the Wolf series. How many drumshee books are there all together?
Bye From Rachel

Message:It might be interesting to do a Christmas Story Competition - just a short story about Christmas and the prize is one of my books. When you send in your entry say which book you would like. I will judge it in the first week in January.
Please put the address of your school on your entry (if you don't have a school, you might have to trust me with your address, but do check with a parent that this is OK. Only I ever see the Story Club entries.)

Message:Rachel: Welcome to the website. I'm glad that you like 'Murder at Drumshee', have you read 'Murder Strikes Again'? this is a new mystery, but it has the same characters, Ita, Mahon etc. I think you might enjoy it.

Carmel: Many, many thanks for a wonderful, poetic and imaginative ending to the story on the Storyline Board. I was afraid that it had all got to be so complicated that it would take a professional writer to to finish it, but you managed magnificantly.

I'll try to think up a beginning for a Christmas story tonight.

Message:Hie Cora Harrison, I'm glad you like my story. I am writing a story at the moment called Wild Dave. I told it to my two brothers and they wanted me to write it down. I'm taking a while though. I find it very hard to write a story that you've already told. Goodbye From Rachel

Message:Carmel: Hang on for a while until I have good think about the title. It would be best to finish the story first.
It would be great to get other people's ideas. There is a lot of talent around on this website.

Message:I've put some information about a story competition on the Story Club as it is too long for this message board.
Unfortunately, it is either under thirteen or under thirty, but some will be interested and eligible.

Message:Hi Helen:
You're so lucky to be able to go so many places! I've never been out of America except when I went to Mexico last year. I've never seen a koala, either. Not in the wild or in captivity.
I'll have to figure out just what the notes are in the song to put them on, but I'll try to put them in soon.
Hi Carmel:
Thank you! I've never really written other poems or sonnets.

Message:Thanks cora, I'm glad you like the storyline I added. I hadn't read the whole story so I wasn't sure if my bit would be ok. I've sent in chapter 2. It was 't originally in the story but I felt that the castle and Tara's character needed more description. The next chapter is one of my favorites, maybe I will send it in tomorrow. Bye, From Carmel

Message:Dear Carmel:
I think you are a gifted writer. I just love that entry in the Storyline. I hope that you can finish it off and then we can have a new story.
I'm just going to put on your latest story. I agree with you that the present title doesn't do it justice. I'll be thinking about it.

Message:Hello Cora, generally other peoples works give me the insparation to write a story and I think it would be a little unfair not to say it was based on them. However, I'm writing a story at the moment which is slightly similar to The Pearls story and I will put it on the site, chapter by chapter so that I might be able to finish it without any presure. I haven't decided on a name so any suggestions from you or the other girls would be greatly appreciated. I have put it under the name 'Serange' but it will probably not stick. I will send in the first chapter From Carmel

Message:Hello Miss Harrison, I am glad you think my English is so good. My teachers think so too. I live in Ireland but I am really French. I have been living here for only one and a half years but I used to learn English in France as well. Christmas does seem to be looming very close though doesn't it! We are leaving Ireland a few days before Christmas so that we may have it in France so I may be absent from the sight for a few weeks. It would be great to have a poem section and a christmas story competion sounds good to though I prefer poems to stories. Thankyou for taking my suggestion, From Helen
