Message:Dear Cora

Thankyou for replying to me - glad you injoyed the water - the markings on the stones are similar to ogham. I am digging up some the area were the remains but, I have not yet found a soutarrain, I hope the soutarrain will be well preserved. I have found two flint axeheads too.

From Conor Kelly.

Message:Dear Conor,
That was great water - lovely and cold - and just what I needed at that moment.
I'm very interested in your farm. What sort of markings are on the stone. Could you describe them?
Is there any trace of a souterrain, or underground room? We think ours is in the middle of the fort, because there is a waterlogged bit there where marsh irises grow and we think it is because water is trapped at the top of the steps (as it was in the escape passageway by what was meant to be a duck pond.)

Message:I was at St.Aidans N.S in Kiltimagh on thursday when you visited my school and my names Conor Kelly and Iam Dales uncil. I was the boy who gave you the cup of water. I would like to hear more stories about were you live because the remains of a Celtic Ring fort, a Hill fort and a very old well with stones around it with certain markings on them are on mine and my neighbours farm.

Never allow yourself to feel rushed about this story. It's working out beautifully and is something that most adults would be delighted to own.

Message:Kristine: It may seem short in quantity of words to you, but it's high in quality. How are you getting on with English as a subject this year?

Aisling: I'm hopeless at titles. The best tip is to try reading your story aloud and see what occurs to you. If you can't get a friend or a sister to listen to you, try it on the dog!
One word titles are quite popular at the moment.

Message:Well, that's that mystery solved - I hope!

I remember South Terrace. When I was quite young I lived around the corner in a place called Newenham Terrace. It had a big garden, almost a small park in front of it them, but then widened the road and spoiled it. I lived in number one - more than fifty years ago!
