Message:Kristine: I'm the one who is sorry - I wish that I could have got them today as I will be out tomorrow. I suppose when this story board was set up I never imagined that anyone would be sending me a story of 27,000 words - or even a third of it!
Don't worry - it will sort itself out.

Message:Cora: I sent them in chunks of three chapters, just like last time. I'm not logged in on my own computer right now, so I can't re-send them, but I'll send them tomorrow. Sorry!

Message:Aoife: I'm afraid I have been too busy with my books for adults. Hopefully, I'll find another publisher and publish TWICE AS GORGEOUS some time.
Kristine: Did you send them? Only the prologue arrived. You may have to split them into six. What did you do the last time? I forget. I know it was 27,000 words.

Message:I'll be away until Monday - you can send stories etc. but don't expect a reply before Monday evening.

Kristine: Don't forget homework (and sleep!)

Aoibheann: I think it's over to you now. Presumably you had some idea of what your story was going to be about when you started it.

Message:Kristine: I think that's a great idea. Give it your very best writing! It's important that Hirael is not seen as a villain - just a confused young man with unresolved problems of jealousy. I also think that I was slightly uneasy with the idea of the king doing 'his own dirty work; it would be more realistic that he would get soemone else to do it. I think also that you should set the scen by giving Hirael's reactions (quite unlike those of his brothers and sisters) when Aaron is rediscovered.
Don't wory about the mechanics of it - get it to your satisfaction and then we'll work out something - it will probably be best to send me any chapter that has been changed, or else, send the whole thing in chunks as you have just done.

Message:Cora: I've been thinking about what you said, about Hirael's jealousy needing a climax...well, what if, in Ch.11, the King sends Hirael to do his dirty work for him, and he does it, because of the rivalry and jealousy that he's always felt? And Hirael purposely just wounds Aeron, instead of killing him? Would that work, or would it be too drastic?

Message:Dear Claudia:
Thaks you very much for your nice letter. I'm sorry that I missed you at Ogonelloe School. I've signed your book and given it to your brother.
I'm so delight that you liked GORGEOUS and that Fern came across as a nice character. I have half-written a sequel to it, but have been too busy to finish it and find a publisher.
Please write back and tell me a little more about you and what school you go to now.

Message:Niamh: I have put on your story and your poem. Well done with both of them.

Kristine: when I came home today I tried to put one of my books for children (about the same length as yours) and it didn't work either. I've emailed Pete again, but I think it might be best if you tried sending it to me three chapters at a time. Would that be a terrible nuisance? By the way, you can highlight and then copy large sections of text by holding down 'shift' and then scrolling to the desiered point.

Message:Kristine: Eureka! It arrived. Possibly, tomorrow, you might be able to break it into three for four sections and this might work. It's annoying for you - no trouble for me.

Niamh: Gorgeous poem. I'll put it on tomorrow.

Now I'm going to bed! I have an early start and when you're nearly seventy you need your rest, not like you young peopel.
