Everyone: I think that the story has gone on too long so if anyone can think of an ending - please do finish it up. I think I will start a new story.

Message:Elora: I love your name. Is it an Irish name? To answer your questions - German shepherds, like Wolf, start off about the size of a teddy bear at 6 weeks, but by ten months the big ones are about the size of a desk.
Aoife: Don't worry about the words - what you want is ideas. Think of a main character for your story and then give him/her a problem to be solved. The solving of it is the story.

Message:Cora: I e-mailed O' Brien Press just a few minutes ago, with a brief synopsis and enquiring if they'd like a sample chapter. Seeing as I don't have an agent, I thought it would be better to e-mail first as opposed to bombaring them with unsolicited manuscripts. Probably won't hear back for a few days, but sure I'll keep you posted.

Message:Megan: Let me know how you get on with your story.
Aoibheann: I like your new chapter. I'll try to put it on tonight - or else tomorrow morning.
Kristine: I understand what you are saying about Scar, but I think you need to tell your reader all of what you have just told me. It could be a very strong passage and I can imagine that you would write it very well indeed. You have to convey to the reader all of Scar's conflicting emotions - they would not necessarily guess them from what you have written. I look forward to how you would write that passage.

Message:And about the adoption - I researched it and it is legal, although it is a bit suspect, I agree. But, if he had a wife, the end of the plot wouldn't run as smoothly, the ends couldn't be tied up. So he sort of had to be single for it to work.
