Message:Dear Butterfly,
That book, 'Treachery at Midnight' is a great favourite of mine and I'm so pleased you liked it. Why don't you try 'Doomed to Die'. They both were written around the same time and they have the same sort of feel about them, I think.

Message:Dear Grace/Heather,
Yes, I remember you so well and you were and still are a wonderful writer. Do keep it up and keep in touch. I sometimes feel that I have a whole family out there of the people who read my books and then shared their own writing with me.

Message:Grace here once again. This is the second part of my message.
I'm 15 now but I still remember clearly every comment & good wish you gave me. I decided to send you my competition entry, sort of as a token of thanks for practically teaching me how to write well, & I also would love some of your valuable critique as I still have a big interest in becoming an author. Thank you very much for everything & I hope you enjoy the story. All the best, Grace

Message:Hi Cora,
I'm sending you a message to say hi and explain to you who I am. Iím Grace, & I'm from Mayo. Years ago, when I was 10 years old, I started writing to you under the name "Heather". I posted several stories & happened to win a few competitions of yours. I will certainly not be offended if you don't remember me; you've given advice to so many young aspiring writers over the years. I really feel you've inspired me & encouraged me to keep writing, and as I wrote an entry for a local Story competition I thought back to the many times I excitedly sent you my stories. If you donít mind, Iíd like to continue this post in a separate message, as itís too long.
