| Message: | Megan: Let me know how you get on with your story. Aoibheann: I like your new chapter. I'll try to put it on tonight - or else tomorrow morning. Kristine: I understand what you are saying about Scar, but I think you need to tell your reader all of what you have just told me. It could be a very strong passage and I can imagine that you would write it very well indeed. You have to convey to the reader all of Scar's conflicting emotions - they would not necessarily guess them from what you have written. I look forward to how you would write that passage. | |

| Message: | And about the adoption - I researched it and it is legal, although it is a bit suspect, I agree. But, if he had a wife, the end of the plot wouldn't run as smoothly, the ends couldn't be tied up. So he sort of had to be single for it to work. | |

| Message: | Cora: That was actually the hardest part to write. I tried a lot of versions where she just said stuff to him, a couple where he didn't come back at all, but none of them really felt right. What I'm trying to do is move Scarlett away from being secretive and hiding her feelings from people, and bring her slowly towards being able to speak and actually tell people how she feels. That's why speaking to Nate about when he'd been gone just didn't feel right - it felt like she was going too fast. I needed some way to get her feelings out, but yet not in the proper way. | |

| Message: | Megan: When I read Aoibheann's message I suddenly thought of an idea. How about your Sharon founding a fan club for her favourite football team. She could recruit members and they could be making posters etc. Then perhaps there might be trouble between them and a fan club supporting another football team... | |

| Message: | Riona: It was 1957 Mark: It's a good idea, before you start on a story, to think of an exciting adventure - if I were you I would involve the dog in something like tracking a lost child/helping to catch a robber or leading its owner to find buried treasure. Kristine: Good luck! Megan: In the dream is Sharon going to be playing football (you'd have to turn her into a boy, wouldn't you?), or is she just watching the match? I think it wouldn't be very interesting just watching a match. Rebecca: Many thanks for your message - you actually put it on the guestbook for adults - this is the place for children. | |
