Message:Emma: That was Nuala from the first Drumshee book.
Cathal: I think the main thing is to keep the tension going. Get a main character and then give that character a problem to be solved - bringing him/her into trouble or danger. Have you tried writing a story, yourself?
Cathy: I like all dogs, but German shepherds are my favourite.
The trouble is that there are loads and loads of Iron Age forts and only a few have been excavated.

Message:David: Thanks for writing. You can see all of my books on this website. Just click on 'books' on the first page.
Ciara: Yes, thank you.
Aoibheann: Don't worry about it - but I do think it is a good idea to hang on to this one for a while to see whether it works for you. If you ever become a professional writing you will learn that you just have to carry on with a story. It's like walking uphill - you can't just lie down; you just have to keep going! There often comes a stage when you have to think hard about what comes next - even if you write a plan (which, I suspect, you don't!)
