Message:Sarah: Did you see the film of Romeo & Juliet? I think it was one of Zefferelli's films.
And of course 'West Side Story' was a sort of modern version of Romeo & Juliet'.

Message:If only she would let us!! After spending months in school going over the whole story of Romeo and Juliet, I was absent fo the end!! It would just be my luck! I think we are doing poems or something after the mid term for the Junior cert, so it won't be as bad.

Message:Dear Cora, only recently I got to know your books and I'm looking forward to receiving them all, especially those dealing with Medieval Ireland; the period after St.Patrick is really fascinating, when Christian and Celtic realities mould the Irish way of life. I'm not well informed about ancient mythology, since I'm more interested in the life of real people, but I will try to fill the gap. God bless.

Message:Sometimes, like 'A Penny For Love, i've been thinking the scene over for weeks, and when I have all the details, I'll write in down, etc etc.

Message:Aoibheann: I think you've put your finger on what makes for good writing - always imagine you are there in the scene. Even go to the extent of digging your nails into your own palm before you make your character do that. All in all, you must feel that you are writing about someone you know well, and in a situation that you can imagine clearly.

Message:I feel I've progressed so much with my writing since I first sent you a message way back in Fourth Class. Now in class, I can imagine the scene so much better thanks to your advice.

I just want to thank you so much. Because writing in class is my favourite subject.

I just want to thank you so much for helping me.

Message:Aoibheann: I've left 'Twice as Gorgeous', but I've 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend' coming out in March and I think you might enjoy that because it is about a shy girl making friends with a lively one and then having fun, going to dances etc. - like an eighteenth century version of 'Gorgeous'.
Emer: The story you sent reads like a good plan for a story. You could work on it a bit and then write it as a story for people to enjoy reading. You need a bit of suspense - a time when everything seems to be going wrong - something to keep your readers interested.
