Message:Aoibheann: I was talking about the one you sent in last night.
But, please, please, please, make sure that you have an ending. Don't hope for the best - make one up now. Ask yourself how is this going to end and then work towards that. Perhaps build in a surprise twist.

Message:You must be a very good reader, Aislinn.

My next book - out this week - is 'The Montgomery Murder'. I think you might like that if you like 'Viking at Drumshee' as it is quite a fast-moving adventure.

You could ask at your library if they can get it for you.

The Limerick Library Book Club: I'm looking forward to meeting you also. I suppose 'I was Jane Austen's Best Friend' is my next 'girly' book as it has a lot about getting dressed up, and dancing and having fun. It is rather a long read, though (over 300 pages) and may be more for older girls.
My latest book for boys (and girls) is The Montgomery Murder. You can see about it on the first page of the website.
Kristine: I think what I was trying to say was to keep in the 'here and now' so that we feel we are inside the mind of your main character.

Message:Hi Cora. Our Book Club love reading your books. We are wondering if you have any plans to write any more "girly" books like Gorgeous ? Or will you be writing any books just for boys ? Also, are any of your brilliant books going to be made into movies ? We are very much looking forward to meeting you at Watch House Cross Library next month. Peace out !!!!!!!!

Message:Thanks, Peter.

I really like Sammy as a character because I found it very interesting to explore what it feels like to be blind and I was pleased to make Sammy courageous and intelligent and brave about his disability.

Message:I've just finished reading The Montgomery Murder. It was really great, I loved it. I loved the part where it was left on a cliff-hanger after Sammy... You have to read the book yourself to find out:-), don't want to reveal anything about the book. Can't wait for the next one! :-)

Message:Lexie, that's great. I'm so pleased you like 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend'.
Whenever I write a new book I worry about whether people will like it or not, so it is lovely to hear nice things like that.
Where did you buy the book? Was it in Easons, or Waterstones?

Message:Zoe: That was such a wonderful start to a story that I thought I would keep it until you did some more. It could be really excellent if you followed it up and wrote like that for the middle and the ending of the tale.

Message:Aoibheann: I've just finished the second Jane Austen book and am editing book 2 of The Montgomery Murder called THE FATAL FIRE. It's funny being an author because you are always about a year ahead of publication dates. The second Jane Austen book won't come out until March 2011 and the sequel to the Montgomery Murder will come out next August.

Anna: Thanks for the message. It's a lovely fine sunny day here so that will be great as every city, town and many villages will be having St Patrick's Day parades.
