Message:Hello Cora greetings from the Glens of Antrim. We are currently reading Famine Secret from Drumshee. Our topic this term is the Great Irish Famine. We have read 2 chapters so far and have really enjoyed it. Last year we read Titanic Voyage from Drumshee. It was really enjoyable to read. We hope Famine Secret is just as good. We hope to hear from you soon. :)

Message:The first thing that I have to say is how delighted and thrilled I am that these books have remained such favourites of yours. The second is that I would really love to write a third book about Jane and Jenny - I have literally a shelf full of books about Jane Austen and about the time that she lived in - clothes, furniture, housing, occupations etc.

However, although the books sold well for Macmillan, they did not sell well enough for them (not like 'Fangirl' for instance) to commission me to do a third book, though I have made various suggestions.

So, we'll have to keep our fingers crossed for a film deal - now that would do the trick.

Message:Hello, I brought 'I was Jane Austens best friend' and 'Jane Austen stole my boyfriend' about two or three years ago when I was 11/12. They are still my favourite books and I still enjoy reading them now.
I looked up the characters and was sad to see what happened to the real Jane (Jenny) Cooper. I was just wondering if you have ever thought what would happen to Thomas and Jenny after they were married and how they would adjust? And if you have ever written or considered publishing a version of their married life? Because although what happened to her was real, I hope you would write your own version? Sorry if you've been asked this before, I've just been curious as to what happens when they are married.
Thanks,
Rachel

Message:You should try it in English, Taiane. I'm sure that your English is good enough and I found, when learning French, that it helped me a lot to read books where I already knew the storyline.

Message:Hi Cora!
Ooh I'm really intrigued now as to what happens to Jane Cooper (Jenny); I really hope you write a third book about her! I tried looking for her on the internet but can't find anything, do you know any good websites with info about her on? Thanks! :)

Message:Yes, it is a problem, Sally.
You see the two books that I wrote about their teen years were fun, lively and glamorous, too, perhaps, but when it comes to the real Jane Austen and the real Jane Cooper (Jenny) well, neither has a truly happy ending and I wonder whether those who loved the first two books, would equally like a more downbeat third book.
If you want to know the true story of the next few years for either you could look it up on the Internet.

Message:Hi Cora,
I have just read your Jane Austen series and I absolutely loved both of the books! I was wondering if you are planning to write a third Jane Austen? I can see how it would be quite difficult though, as I guess Jenny would have to move away from Jane now that she is married, although Jane could go and stay with her...?!
Thanks
