| Message: | Kristine: At the moment publishers are only publishing near certainties - and advances are down by 70%. This is not the moment for them to take a chance on a young person. I think that you should start something new. The more experience that you have of different styles of writing now the better the writer you will be eventuially. I'm 70, but I know that I have improved immensely as a writer in the last five years or so. Ten years ago I would just scribble away, now I continually ask myself would this character say this, think that... | |

| Message: | Aoibheann: I'm afraid that I didn't write it in Irish - I wrote it in English and it was translated into Irish by someone in An Gúm, the Irish-language publishers in Dublin. Have a good time in Limerick. Did you know that jodhpurs originated in India. It's the name of a place there and these sort of riding trousers were probably first worn by the British Indian army when they were playing polo, I would guess. | |

| Message: | Aoibheann: I think that's dreadful! Certainly very unsporting. I wonder why the teachers don't put a stop to things like that. The referee should certainly have sent that girl off. It's a great mistake to ever allow anyone to get away with that sort of behaviour. | |

| Message: | 2: The bridge were very dirty. One player called me awful me names when we last played. I was susposed to be upset but it was really funny. Anyway they were awful mad this time. One gave out to every one on our team. She hit me in the stomach...(ow) and in a throw in hit me on the knee and told me to move back and told the Ref to shut up. I know it seems very trival and that but....Anyway we lost 2-1. the second game we won 1-0 and the last game I was captain and......we lost by 2 points. If we had won it we would have won all of it..and I was going to get the cup...but anyway well done Kristine! | |
