Message:Hi Cora,
I would, firstly, like to say that I love your books! 'I was Jane Austen's Bestfriend' and 'Jane Austen Stole my Boyfriend' are phenomenal books! I have read both, and I especially like the details about the balls, and just the books in general! I send compliments, also, to Susan Hellard, the illustrator, I love the illustrations so much! My friend Erin and I are writing a novel called Civility and Charm (Please, anybody reading this, don't copy the name thank you) and we are writing it in the same time as your books. Have you got any pointers for us? Thank You so much!

Thanks for writing,

Message:Saoirse:
I hope you enjoy 'The Secret Spy'. The book is based on real-life, disabled boy called Ronan. Like the Ronan in the book he suffers from cerebral palsy and finds it hard to make himself understood, but again like the boy in the book he is very clever. He was definitely the source of my inspiration for that book.
Best wishes,
Cora.

Poppy: Go to the home page. Under the words CORA HARRISON in big letters at the top of the page you will see a list of pages. Story Club is just at the end.
When your story is written on your computer, then highlight it, copy it and then paste it into the space on the Story Club. Put your name, your age, your school and, of course, the title of your story and then I will do the rest.

I've just had the fantastic news that 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend' has been one of the five short-listed books out of a thousand put forward for the Staffordshire Teen Book of the Year Award. The results will be known in July and the prize winning ceremony will be at Uttoxeter Race Course on July 7. Keep your fingers crossed for me, everyone.
The sequel 'Jane Austen Stole My Boyfriend' will be out in the beginning of April.

Message:Sarah: Make it a murder, then.
Your best friend is found murdered outside a traveller encampment (DESCRIBE IT AND YOUR REACTIONS TO THE DEAD BODY)
The police think a traveller did it...
You investigate.
How about that fellow who said that he was a film director and could get your friend a part in a movie???
How about the girl who always hated your friend because she stole her boy friend???
And what about that secret that your friend told you she would uncover one day???
And what about that creepy teacher???

Who did murder her???
Who ever it was, you are determined to uncover the truth and avenge your friend.

Message:Goodness, Ciara! When I asked your great-uncle - guess what he said - about 7 or 8!

Try 'I was Jane Austen's Best Friend' - should be in all bookshops, or 'Gorgeous' from a library - that's out-of-print, now but it's still in most libraries.

If you like murder mysteries, you might like 'The Montgomery Murder'.

Good luck with your writing. Send something to me on the Story Club page if you want any advice.
