| Message: | Thanks, Maggie. It's lovely to hear that you like my books and that your cousins do also. I don't think that I have ever been in a school in Leitrim, but I have gone to lots of schools in Galway. I think that, for girls, my favourite book at the moment must be 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend'. I loved doing all about the gorgeous dresses that they wore then and the bits about going to a ball and falling in love. It was very romantic and I love that! | |

| Message: | Thanks, Jack. I certainly enjoyed my visit to you. In fact, I would say that you are certainly one of my favourite schools of all time. Everyone is so nice. Yes, everything that I told you in my talk was as true as I could make it. I must say that with regard to the girl I might put it down to an over-active imagination if it were not for the dog's reaction. She certainly had all her hackles raised and she certainly howled like a wolf - something she never did either before or afterwards during her ten years of life. | |

| Message: | Thank you for visiting our school at Sliabh a Mhadra today. I really enjoyed your visit and thank you for signing my book. Was the story true about the JCB and the fort under the hill? Was it also true that when you were out with your dog that someone popped out of the bushes? I love your books Cora. | |

| Message: | Molly: Thank you. I loved my visit to you! Conor: I live fairly near to the ruins of Leamenah Castle and I was inspired to look into the history of it and I found out all about Máire Rua O'Brien - who is a real historical character. Sean: It's funny for me to look back at the behaviour of those two mad dogs, or puppies, but they weren't much fun at the time - just a terrible nuisance! | |
