Message:You'd have to talk to your teachers about that, Linda. I do occasionally visit schools - but it couldn't be this term as I am too busy. It would have to be in the spring, sometime.

Message:Thanks Cora! It's such a great college and Dublin is so busy and lively, I love it! I wonder if I kept writing if you'd be interested in reading it? I'm really hoping to keep it on as a hobby in any case, I enjoyed it so much when I had the time for it.

Message:Cora :) A long time since I wrote to you! I didn't really write during my leaving cert year, I just didn't find the time...but it all paid off, I got my points and an A1 in English :) I'm studying social studies in Trinity in Dublin and so in four years I'll be a qualified social worker! My course isn't very heavy on hours, and there's lots of reading, so hopefully I'll have a bit more time for writing this year anyways! I hope all has been well with you!

Message:No, Minnie, it's certainly not. When I said that I wanted to think about it, it was because I think you are very talented and I wondered what advice to give you.
Keep writing!

Message:I didn't mean for it to be inappropriate, if that's what you're worried about. It's not an inappropriate story (even if there are parts which makes it sound a little inapropriate in my latest update) If you need to think about it I can always rewrite it :) most of my work is pretty rubbish anyway and needs an update I don't mind :)

Message:Cora I might write a new story, I'll post it tomorrow night as I am going to the funfair with my four friends tonight!!

To Linda,
If you're upset about going away from home then try bringing something extra special from home with you like a favourite toy that smells of your Mum's perfume or your Dad's aftershave that will help you remember them. You can always send letters and postcards home and text them!
Plus, you'll be with your friends and probably share rooms with them so you won't be alone. Maybe one of your friends feels the same way as you.

Message:Rachael: No, nothing came. strange!

Taiane: Try this:
Think of hero/heroine - make up a 'back story' - in other words a story of her life (give an interesting life to her). Don't write this, but have it at the back of your mind.
Then give that person a problem to be solved or a goal to be achieved.
Plan out your story in chapters.
Build in a twist about three-quarters of the way through the story - when it looks as if everything is going well, suddenly everything goes badly wrong.
Then give a happy, or dramatic ending to your story (it's a good idea to invent this before you start).

Message:I don't like Jacqueline Wilson's books anyway, I like YOUR books!!! I hope I'll be able to see you anyway.

This is going to sound weird but if Pauline aged 13 from Sacred Heart School is reading this can I just say I read your poem on the story club and I absolutely love it and I think you're insanely talented????
Minnie :-) xx

Message:Linda: Nobody but you can make the decision but you will probably really regret it if you don't go. How long is it since you have gone away from home? Girl grow up quickly at your age and you might find this time is different.

Minnie: It all depends on whether some shop wants me - so don't get your hopes up too much. I'm no Jacqueline Wilson!
