Name: Cora Harrison
Message:Rebecca: If you read and enjoyed 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend', then you will probably like 'Jane Austen Stole My Boyfriend' also as it is a sequel and tells the story of how Jane finds someone to love (she doesn't steal Jenny's boyfriend).

Message:Welcome to the website, Aideen.

In order to put a story on, go to the home page and go along the top line (under my name). The last thing is the Story Club. Click on this and then on Story Club when you come to the group story. You'll find a space into which you either type or (and this is better) paste a story you have already saved on your computer. Don't forget to put your name and age, and your school if you are happy about that.

Message:You're right, Cora! I think we should have a competition like that on Story Club and then you could decide the winner!
Second of all, I'm super-stuck for ideas for a story to write now. I like the Victorian Era, and mystery, but I'm not too sure what to write about have you got any ideas?
Thanks :-)

Message:Hi Cora, my freind Cora o Conner was also telling me about that book. When Cora was reading the messages she said that there will be a third Jane Austan. I'll ask the teacher to order new Jane Austan books or there might be a stanta book where you can order books for yourself.

Message:Kelley: it's interesting what you said, because I was reading recently about a competition for a short, short story. It's something that expresses in a few words a whole story. An example is Hemingway:
FOR SALE A PAIR OF BABY SHOES. NEVER WORN.
Of course this brings to mind a whole story of heartbreak, of love and of loss - very effective.
Perhaps we should try a competition like that on the Story Club.

Mairead: Goodness, you must be a quick reader. See if your school will order 'Jane Austen Stole My Boyfriend' as well as 'I Was Jane Austen's Best Friend' - I think you will enjoy that.

Message:Thanks for your messages, Cora and Mairead.

I always find historical novels very easy to write, Cora. You can pick some exciting event in history and then have your main character present at this event.
