Cora Harrison added this:

'I don’t know what to do,' I muttered angrily to myself. 'After all Terry is my best friend...'

Sinead added this:

I mean what if I do tell her?
She would probley hate me or tell every one at school im a total loser!I Thought.
I m sure shell understand if she really is my best friend. Tricia thought.
Ideas were comming into T ricias mind things that she had never thought of befour
Unttil Terry walked into the room and ........

A good start from Sinead. Now an other character in the story is named.

Sinead added this:

....and saw Tricia laughing with Terrys sister Lizzy and talking about her (at least thats what Terry thought)and Terry got very up set about this and turned around to run out of the classroom and bumped into Miss.Lees there teacher."Sit down!" ordered Miss Lees.So Terry sat down the problem was that Terry sat beside Tricia.
So Terry sat with a pout on her face......

That's a very good idea, Sinead, to turn the story to what another character is thinking. It might be a good idea to stay with Terry for the moment and that will keep everyone guessing about what is worrying Tricia.

Sinead added this:

The next day was Saturday a lovely morning to begin the day.
"Ring Ring"Rang the phone.Terry ran down the stairs to answer the phone but she was to late Lizzy got there. It was Tricia!
Tricia wanted to talk to Terry but Lizzy said. "Stop saying that about Terry its not through" Lizzy turned her back to Terry and made a little smirk. Terry ran up to her parents room to listen on the other phone then she heard the truth! ......

Well done, Sinead. I'm getting suspicious of that Lizzy.

Claire added this:

When she picked uy the phone she herd Tricia saying
“I must talk to Terry. There’s a question I must ask her. I have got to know the truth. Please get her for me, Lizzie.”
Then Terry herd Lizzie say:
“Shut up. Shut up saying things like that about my sister. Just go away and shut up. My sister never wants to talk to you again.”
Then Terry herd a phone banging down. She ran downstairs.
“Lizzie, what are you saying to Tricia. Why are you so horble?”
“Listen, Terry, you don’t know what that girl’s been saying about you.”
Terry stared at Lizzie. She just didn’t know what to believe. She was in a turble dilemma

Yes, Claire, you have developed Sinead's idea really well. It's getting quite exciting now, wondering what is it that Tricia knows, or thinks she knows, about Terry.

Amy Mc added this:

Meanwhile, back at Tricia's house, they were having dinner. Sitting quietly at the table her mother asked"You don't seem yourself lately, are you sure your alright"
I really feel like telling her, but she will make a big fuss about it, I wish Dad was still here he would know what to do. Tricia thought. "No Mum I'm just feeling a bit ill, I'll be OK later" Tricia replied.

I should have known not to tell Lizzy that secert, it was like, she was hypnotising me, I simply don't know what was wrong with me, Lizzy is the posh one, the one who is popular, the one who makes fun of people like........me! I guess I was so worked up on hanging out with "THE COOL GROUP" I changed, I just changed. I saw Terry, sitting next to me and I saw her almost crying and yet I felt good about myself, I'm so horrible I most apologise to her and if I can't ring her I will have to go to her house.

"LIZZY, are you sure she said that, I know Tricia and she wouldn't say that, at least I don't think so" Terry said.
"I'm afraid she did and I'm only standing up for my cute little, TWIN sister" Lizzy replied "And tomorrow you can hang out with me and the rest of us you know "US" the Cool people"
"Sure, I guess just as long as they don't make fun of me when I answer all the questions at class"
"They won't I will make sure of it"
At that moment there was a knock on the door.

It was Tricia. Terry answered the door.
"What do you want"
"I have come to apologise, for what I have done"
"Good" Terry said.
"So are we friends"
"Think again"
Terry slamed the door and ran up to her room..............

you have quite a gift, Amy, for putting into words what girls of your age are feeling. I hope you can develop that gift. I can see a future for you.

Amy added this:

"Oh dear what have I done, I don't feel like talking to myself right know, in fact I don't like myself right now" Tricia said.

At that moment Tricia's other friend Dan was walking down the road. Dan was good looking every girl in school liked him, Tricia could remember when they went to Terry's house to play, but all Lizzy would do was hang around with Dan, he looks much older than them, you wouldn't think that he was 13 years old, he looks older.

"Hi Tricia, whats up, why the long face"
"Oh nothing" Tricia said and then broke down to tears.
"Oh Dan, I've done something terrible, me and Terry, oh SOB SOB SOB"
"What happened, will you be alright, C'mon lets go for a walk"
"Please, don't tell anyone at school about this, they will never let me hear the end"
"Don't worry now, why are you worried"
"I, well, I, I, I can't tell, I made that mistake already, I think I might of lost my best friend I ever had"
"How, I told her sister, you know "BARBIE DOLL LIZZY" the one who has a crush on you, I told her a secert and I promised I wouldn't and now she will never forgive me"
"Who"
"Who do you think, TERRY" Tricia said rubbing her eyes
"Oh Tricia you, you didn't"
"Oh I did, her biggest secert" she said braking down into tears once again.
"How could you, well not only you told, but you told Lizzy"
"I...... know..... but.... the worst thing is,.... I felt good,.... I saw her almost crying and... I didn't go over and say sorry or.... anything"
"Did you try and say sorry"
"I did and I really tried but she doesn't want to talk to me"
"Don't worry you and her will be friends again" Dan said putting his arms around her.

Meanwhile, back in Terry's house.
"YO, Terry you did the right thing, just don't be froiends with her, she's bad news" Lizzy said smirking.
"If I did the right thing then why doesn't it feel right" she thought to herself.........

Very good,Amy. This bit is deepening the mystery.

Cora Harrison added this:

She looked at Lizzy. It was funny, they were identical twins. They looked the same - both of them small, slim and blond (not like Tricia, who was tall and dark) but Terry and Lizzy were two completely different people in character.
How am I going to get out of this mess that Lizzy has got me into, thought Terry...

I put in a bit to give a description of the three girls as I felt I was getting a bit mixed up between Terry (small and blond)and Tricia (tall & dark).

Excellent, Claire. I like the way you analysed why Tricia had told Lizzy. The arrival of the policeman gives a new twist to the mystery.

Claire added this:

“I just feel turible” thought Terry. “Why has it all gone wrong? I used to be such frends with Tricia. Has she really been saying things about me? What has she been saying? I wish I culd see into her mind.”
In the meantime Tricia was walking along beside Dan. She was saying nothing but her mind was busy.
“Oh why did I tell Lizzy” she thought. She knew what had happened. She had seen Lizzy with all her COOL gang and suddenly she wanted to be with them. She wanted to be one of them. So she had done that stupid thing and now she had lost her best frend.”
They walked on in silence and then they came around a corner. There was her house just in front of her. And at the door was her mother and with her was a guard…

Cora Harrison added this:

Tricia's mother looked at the tall dark girl. She bit her lip with worry. They are all growing up so fast, she thought.
